Awhile back, someone posted that kids get picked at random for the "Visit to the Maul", but I've also read that you must get in line about an hour in advance. Are kids picked from the audience to get pulled on stage? Or picked in advance to attend the show? How exactly does that work? Thanks so much!

If I remember right last year, they were choosing kids while waiting in line for A Visit To The Maul. I could've sworn I saw some CMs picking kids, but then again, my memory isn't the greatest.

they get picked during the morning hours the same as for the parade. I went to the show on Sunday and there were about 3 kids in costumes, 2 with Darth Maul face painting, one Make a Wish child, others with SW t-shirts and just regular clothing (I think there's about 20 kids in total). They seem to be picking kids at the main entrance and then around the Star Tours and Premiere Theater areas.
If your child gets picked they let you know to come to the theater about 45 minutes early and get you seated inside and give the kids instructions on what to do

I asked on Friday and Saturday and both times they let me give my band to my son. It wasn't that they said no today. It was the fact that the two CM's were adamant about it the then the female CM complained about me to the guest in front of me. It broke my heart when my son started pacing and flapping because he heard what she said.

What upset me was the fact that the male CM didn't hesitate to tell the flirtatious guest that she could give her band to her son.

Woah, hang on wait. It was the same CM?

I understand how you felt. I'm so disgusted by the way they acted and I'm sorry it happened and was hard on your boy.

maybe if kids don't show up by the time they needed everyone set they will pick some kids from the line...

Thank you so much for posting this Yulilin3!!

I am sorry to ask again but if it was answered I missed it, I'm sorry!!, but do the taxis take cards or must you bring cash..? Thank you! This is going to be the longest week at work ever!! :thumbsup2

Edit: Oh no, ewok is at 1:45?! DRAT, I was thinking it would also be at 5 since the Maul show is. Back to the drawing board! :(

I noticed on Kenny's site that he has R2-MK listed as a character meet and greet? I'm guessing he shows up with Jedi Mickey and Minnie? Has anyone seen R2-MK this year at SWW?

I asked a CM (I believe she was a supervisor, she was telling several CMs what to do) during the Chewbacca debacle (I was in line since 7:40 or so) when they were handing out paper slips to meet characters to make up for the lateness of Chewie, if R2-MK will be doing meet and greets, and she said no. She said she knew it made appearances for May The Fourth, but will not be making appearances during SWW.

And this is what makes me angry with Disney's management of the event...the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing...yes, R2MK is meeting with Jedi Mickey, not sure if he comes out all day, I know I saw him when Jedi Mickey came out at 7pm (his last set) and also I saw him at different hours during the day.

Is Dave Filoni participating any weekend this year? I don't remember seeing his name listed...might be some interesting info given they just announced Star Wars Rebels, a new animated series starting in 2014.

I bet guests are driving Ashley crazy with questions about whether she is in it - if we take the timeline that Ahsoka walking out on her own happened just before episode III starts - and order 66 - then Ahsoka could be a big part of Rebels, or even Ahsoka and her new buddy Asajj.

The thought had already crossed my mind... :)

Thanks yulilin3. Wish I knew that R2MK was going to be there, I would've chosen that to be my meet and greet instead of the Ewok Chip and Dale. :( Hopefully R2MK will be there again for the remaining weekends.

Hello again, I am planning on buying my friend a SWW t-shirt. I have looked at the Kenny the Pirate link and didn't see any under the merchandise link. I have a few questions for anyone who had been there or is in the know.

1) do they have adult sized SWW T-shirts?

2) do you really have to stand in an 8 hr long line for a T-shirt?

3) what is the best/quickest way to buy a T-shirt?

4) do they sell the shirts everywhere or only in one spot?

I know he showed up last year signing the Star Wars Racers vehicles at the Darth Mall. My fiancee and I got the 4 cars signed and got our pictures taken with him. Not sure if he will be making an appearance this year.

1. Yes
2. No, you can buy them at several stores.
3. Go to any of the stores that carry the t-shirts, Tatooine Traders, there's also the store on the main street the last store on the left. Darth Mall is usually packed.
4. Sold in several stores. Unless you want the passholder t-shirt, but I found it to be a lot more bland than the regular one.

I have not been yet (going week 4) but from all my research and great people on here...

1)yes they have adult and kids...I remember seeing posted 2 different styles one white and one black but there could be more.

2) the 8 hour line was only on day 1 and mostly for limited addition stuff

3+4) they are selling tshirt at the little "store" before you even enter DHS, also there are a few other stores that are selling them besides the Big SWW tent.

1. Yes

2. No, that was just the crazy LE merch rush on day one

3. I'd say at one of the carts throughout the park that carry them or Darth's Mall in the afternoon or evening.

4. Several locations carry the generic SWW shirt

you can grab a bench or one of the tables there if you're early enough, maybe 2 hours, if not you can still sit on the floor and watch the screen, the mayority of people sit on the floor and if they don't you can move and be able to watch it just fine

Don't mind sitting on the ground if I don't have to sit there for 2 hours with people pressing up against me. I'd go over to the screen after JAT's show I think. By that time it will be too late to get a close viewing spot for the Hoopla anyway. I've only got 2 days though and will likely have to see both JAT and Hoopla on Friday.
