How Many people like Star Wars??? I like all of them a lot, Thats why I started this fan club and official thread. If you like Star Wars join the official fan club!!

I love Star Wars!!!

It is hard to pick a favorite but I chose EP: 5 mostly because of Yoda. I like the OT much more than the PQ but they are good in their own right.

I have also gotten into reading the EU books. Really cool!!

I'm a little bummed because I won't be able to go to the midnight showing of EP3 next year because I will be on a cruise. It will be the first one I have missed of the PQ. But I think 14 days on the "Magic" will help ease the pain.

I voted for The Empire Strikes Back because of it's dark nature and cliffhanger elements. Lots of surprises in this one.

I'm projecting that The Revenge of the Sith will possibly become my favorite as this is the "bridge" that brings the first and second trilogy together. And besides, this is the only movie out of the new trilogy that I truly WANT to see since I first heard about the prequels many years ago.

Hi, neat thread, I'll join your club! We are big Star Wars fans here. (And as you can see in my tag, I am a Star Trek fan as well...love all the "stars". lol)

I really can't choose a favorite episode, I love each one!! I can't wait to see the final movie next year, but then it makes me REALLY sad to know there won't be anymore!!! So, I'm enjoying the anticipation.

Here's a question for you guys, how often do you watch a Star Wars movie? We have episodes 4,5,6 on VHS (did I hear they are coming out on DVD this year???) and 1,2 on DVD. My boys love to watch them, so we watch one once a month. I can't count how many times I've seen 4,5,6!

I don't have time to keep up with any Star Wars news, so maybe I can get the latest buzz from this thread!

Yeah, but BOY I hope some of the cast have been taking acting lessons since the last one!

Ep. 6 is my favorite. Can't beat dancing with Ewoks!

yes 4,5, and 6 will be out on DVD September 21st. I have already preordered mine from Amazon.com. It will be four disks and they have made changes (again) to make the story more in line with what we have found out in EP 1 & 2.

COOL!!!!!!!!!! It will be great to not deal with the VHS tapes anymore, lol. Hey, do you get them for a good price for preordering? Or did you preorder just to make sure you get your copy asap?? Just wondering if it's something we should do.

I voted for #5. I loved the introduction of Yoda and the Han/Leia love story. Of course, who could forget, "Luke I AM your father!". I was a kid when that came out, but boy was I surprised.

Star Wars?? What's that?? Never heard of it.

I voted for Ep. 5, the Empire Strikes Back. Yoda training Luke, the Millennium Falcon's escape through the asteriod field, Han, Leia, and Chewie captured in Cloud City, and Han evolving from a scoundrel out only for himself to sacrificing himself to save his friends so they can fight another day, and Luke discovering the truth about his father -- so many reasons why I think it's the best of the series.

Also voted for Episode 5, just love the scenes with Yoda. Can't wait for them on DVD.
