online but same day only, can't do it ahead of time. $10 charge for no show for Oga and $199 no show charge for Savi

So in reality there is no benefit to getting to the parks early other than getting into the land, does not guarantee you even getting a reservation. You would think they would have some standby times as well

I think for Oga specially they will have some (very few) ability to enter a queue once inside. We still don't know IF you have to be inside DHS or close to DHS to book but by having it online you would think that that won't be neccessary. Again we wait for Monday on DL operations and reports to see how it actually works

Agreed, just getting excited. Wife let me go solo to opening day, planning on camping if able (got to get the full experience). So just dont want to wait 8+ hrs to get shut out lol

I mean that's probably going to be a big benefit once the reservation period ends. Starting Monday you'll want to get there early to go on the rides, but it'll be nice to not have to worry about lines at Oga's or Savi's.

I would personally prefer you to be in the park to be able to book your reservation online for Oga's or Savi's. It would be harder to secure a spot for a reservation if you can book a reservation from anywhere as opposed to being within the DHS boundaries.

I agree but with Disney tech that would probably be hard...

For MaxPass at Disneyland, don't you have to be in the park to make a fastpass? If that were the case, would it be something similar?

If not able to geographically make an online reservation. I'd want them to make the same day reservation the most random time of the day like 3:00am (I for sure know they wouldn't do that) but I would for sure get up at 2:45am ready to make my Oga's Cantina online reservation at 3:00am. then nap and wake up at 4:00am to roll on over to DHS for EEMH at SWGE lol

Yes and that’s how the virtual queue is working. You must be in the park.

For maxpass you do have to have entered the park, once your ticket is scanned you can make mp inside the park you're in, at the other park or go back to your hotel room and book for later

I'm still coming down off the high of securing a Jedi Master VIP pass for Celebration 2020. This will be my 4th Celebration but only the 1st time I've been lucky enough to be able to purchase a Jedi Master pass! I've also reserved 7 nights at the Residence Inn so all in all it's been a very successful day!! :D

This will be my first Celebration and my first Jedi Master pass. Hopefully I'll be able to learn from your experience so I don't end up more of a padawan.

Saturday adult tickets are sold out
EDIT it looks like they are back open

I'm happy to share any advice or tips for anyone attending Celebration though the biggest tip I can say is we've both hit the jackpot in securing a Jedi Master pass as that should greatly reduce the amount of time we have to spend in lines!! Only at London was I able to get into the main stage for the biggest panel of Celebration (which then was Rogue One) so just knowing I'll be able to get into any panel on the Celebration Stage in Anaheim and not have to rely on the luck of the lotteries is massive!

I'm also looking forward to getting to go to Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland whilst there. I'll get to experience the Hollywood Studios version first for my late December/early January trip to WDW but it will be great to get to go to the Disneyland version too.

I'd be surprised if they don't end up selling a hard ticket event for Galaxy's Edge whilst the Convention is on similar to the Galactic Nights hard ticket event at WDW they did for the last Orlando Celebration.
