Are you asking about joining a boarding group or one of the reservations for Oga’s or Savi’s?

If you’re asking about boarding groups, around the 3 minute mark of the video it says joining a boarding group is linked to your theme park ticket and you must have entered the park to request to join a boarding group.

I’m not sure if that is the case for Oga’s or Savi’s?

Is anyone else surprised that they are not limiting how long you can stay in Batuu? I’m wondering how this may affect how many people can visit if there is no limit to how long people can stay?

I was asking about the Cantina reservations, specifically. That is the main thing we wanted to do and missed out on during our reservation period, but also, we weren't so impressed by the land that we are willing to arrive at the park at opening *just* to get into Ogas. It is something we'd eventually like to do, and this system sounds ideal if we can make the reservation from home, knowing we WILL get in that day.

Also, I don't think there is any reason to put a time limit on people. It is actually pretty difficult to spend a lot of time in this land if you aren't doing the droid and/or lightsaber building and/or Oga's. Once you do the ride and check out the shops and maybe eat, there really isn't anything else to actually do.

If you are in the land spending several hours, it means you are also spending $$$$ and Disney has NO issue with that.

Thanks so much for your input! We only plan on doing the ride, looking around and purchasing a Porg so hopefully we can get in and get those things done at the WDW location in September.

I think the rides wait time will be your biggest hurdle, because we have no idea how Disney plans to limit visitors at WDW yet, but in the event that they cap it at 6000 people, the ride wait times should not exceed 2 hours, at worst. During the reservation period, with approx 3000 guests in the land, the wait time averaged 15-30 minutes and only ballooned to 90 min at the start of each reservation period. Buying a porg will take no time.

well, unless you are into just going around the land and looking for easter eggs and using the Disney Play app datapad thing and stuff like that. I could see some people taking hours just doing that stuff

We plan on being there in September and just doing the ride. Is this Oga's information for WDW? I'm getting confused, although it's not too difficult for me LOL
I'll be there for the 6 am opening so not sure I want to be drinking that early, although it is vacation

the info on reservations for Oga is for DL

I thought the milk choices were blue and green? They look blue and orange in that picture. The sipper is kind of cool, but not sure if it's 24.99 cool (that includes the drink, right? So technically 24.99 - 8.00, so 17ish for the sipper?). It would need to be high quality, and hold more than 12 oz.
Yes that should include the drink. They are blue and green.

In a number of photos the "green" milk comes off looking more like neon yellowish green ... other times it looks a bit more greenish

The sippers look bigger than the cups too so if they hold like double a normal prortion, than it woulb be like $24.99-$16 for the sipper itself. Supposedly they light up too which always adds to the price of things

The official info relates to DL only so far - but the understanding is that WDW is watching how things work at DL in determining what they will do - so if this works i would expect it to come to WDW as well (even if the specifics of how it works might be a little different)

They do have breakfast adult beverages at Oga's as well - one is like a bloody mary, the other more coffee based ... they also have breakfast food there: an overnight oats and a chocolate cinnamon role type thing

Would the reservations for oga/savis be done on site while in the land/park or is it going to happen online in MDE?

Sounds like it's entirely online.

I wonder how that will effect people who are waiting in line to get into the land before park hrs and have to wait for a "boarding group". Would hope physically being there would give you and advantage

Doesn't look like being in a boarding group gives you any advantage:
The Know Before you go states....
"Reservations for both experiences will allow access into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the time of the reservation, so it will not be necessary to join a boarding group"

I'm not sure how it'll work at park opening but if you have reservations for Savi's or Oga's after opening and the land is full, you'll still be able to get in. I would hope they've figured out the logistics to make this work smoothly but we'll find out soon.

online but same day only, can't do it ahead of time. $10 charge for no show for Oga and $199 no show charge for Savi
