DH and I will be there 9/2-8 and staying at CCV for our 10th wedding anniversary. Very excited to back at our favorite resort. We're only planning on doing MNSSHP and a day at Epcot for parks and then go with the flow the rest of the time. Spend some time relaxing on the balcony and hit up the hot tub, maybe try some of the lounges in the evening, finally go to Jellyrolls, check out some of the other resorts, and mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens. I promised DH that we'd relax instead of rope drop to close every day. Right now we only have one ADR and that's for Shiki-Sai.

I'm anxiously waiting for the F&W menus and MSSHP food/merch!

ADR day and got everything we wanted, except Yak and Yeti, which was expected. Will pick this up later or use Landrys card. There was availability for many hard to get places like Space220, Ohana, etc. By 6:22am the app stopped working when I was looking just for fun. Glad I was done well before then.

Finished paying off my trip today! Only 51 days to go... so crazy. Started planning this trip June 2023 as a quick weekend at All-Star Sports to do Epcot and MNSSHP. How it evolved to a week at DAKL I'll never know!

ADRs were last week (maybe two weeks ago?) for me and everything went pleasantly. Only thing I had to compromise on was Starlight Safari at DAKL but even that was fine -- ended up booking for a different day and time than I planned but it's such a competitive Enchanting Extra I'm just happy to have booked it.

Today was my ADR day, never seen it so open got everything no problem hoping it's a precursor to a empty park

It was for me!

tbh I’ve been so engrossed in the new Final Fantasy XIV expansion that it totally slipped my mind that yesterday was our ADR day. I realized it around 2pm when I was running dungeons with my friends. So I hopped on the app and I had absolutely zero issues getting the couple of ADRs we wanted. I’m shocked I was able to score ‘Ohana dinner on 2 separate nights with our pick of times, including our arrival night! I am just not sure if we want it before going into MK for EEH on 9/18 or on 9/22 before going to the Halloween party. So I booked both and am hanging onto them until we figure out what we want to do. The only other ADRs I booked were a couple of breakfasts, Steakhouse 71 on 9/20 and 1900 Park Fare on 9/22. We like having a rest day whenever we do these hard ticket events, and we always like to have a leisurely breakfast at our resort before hanging out at the pool.

Originally we were going to do CRT breakfast on 9/20, since I like to have a late one on a day that I rope drop a park, but we opted against it after seeing that the latest breakfast time they have is like 10:15. 9/20 is a party day and from experience I feel like the low crowds and nonexistent wait times will still be going strong that time of morning, and I don’t want to waste that by stopping for a lengthy TS meal. Steakhouse 71 breakfast goes until almost 11 which works out better for us. Then we can just hop the monorail home.

But also I think it slipped my mind because we are not really stressing ADRs on this trip. We’re going to be eating so much on the cruise (that’s already included, except our dinner at Palo), that we really don’t feel the need to eat a whole lot of TS during the land portion of the trip. Especially considering our park time is a bit limited compared to our usual lengthy trips. If we do end up doing any more TS it will almost assuredly be via the walk up wait list. Like traditionally I like doing Grand Floridian Cafe for arrival day brunch but always leave that to walk ups in case of flight delays.

I just made final payment today woo hoo!! We are 51 days. Was able to get ADR's no problem except for Space 220 lounge. Hoping we snag one and hopes that all this availability means low crowds.

A big part of the reason has to do with the fact that we have a trip to WDW at the end of August with extended family. We decided to cancel the Sept trip and plan a trip when the weather is cooler. August and September are both hot.

We use cooling towels, the Frog Togg brand works best for us.

We've got cooling towels, portable fans, Hydroflasks (I know, we're so uncool with all the cool kids carrying Stanleys), and electrolyte powders to add to them as necessary.

Wow, you are all very early birds. My final payment is due August 9 and I plan to pay it on August 8. No one gets my money before they absolutely have to.

It's so funny because Disney is the ONLY thing I pay a month before the due date! Car payment? Student loan? Credit card bill? Not until you absolutely need it. Disney? I better pay it off a month in advance to make sure I don't get penalized!
