Official September 2012 planning thread! List on page 30!

That's what I'm wondering as well. How did you get that offer? Did you get an email or something. :flower3:

See above response. It came this evening, so they may do another emailing if they need more testers.

It said:
"You have been chosen to participate in an
invitation-only test at Magic Kingdom® Park
that will allow you to select four FastPass+
experiences before you arrive.

FastPass+ enables you to select your "must-do"
rides, shows, and character meet and greets in advance, so you'll have
more time to spend with your friends and family while you're here.

Just select your test date, between 09/18/2012 and 09/24/2012, and you'll be
able to enjoy your favorite experiences with minimal wait."

Then they included a registration number.

I hope y'all get one too! :cheer2:

We leave the 18th :sad1:

I did the solar shirts. Here is a link to the thread where there is some info on them.

I thought about doing the tye dyed ones, but I already had enough on my plate and my husband vetoed them. He said we can do them next time :cheer2:

Here is a picture of how our shirts turned out :)

I love these shirts. I want to make them. I must research this. How long did it take? I need them done dried and ready to pack by Saturday. Is this doable or am I putting too much pressure on myself?

:banana:I just got an offer to receive 4 fastpasses for each of our party by trying out the new fastpass+. It took less than 5 minutes to fill in the order. I chose Dumbo, BTMRR, HM and Peter Pan with times. (Offer was for MK only or it would have been TSM.) It was pretty sweet. Anyone else get this?

I was not a believer, but I think I am now. Saved running to FP locations and returning later to use passes. It actually makes touring easier. Hope they arrive as promised and it works out.

Lucky, lucky, you. I was so hoping to get picked to check it out! You'll have to come back and let us know how it all works out!

Awww! I just read that the testing was during our week. I was hoping to get one! Have fun!

Online check-in for my Little Mermaid room all done! :cool1:

I also got picked for the FP+ testing. I'm curious to see how it works once we get there!

You would be cutting it close. It doesn't take that much time to do, it's just the time waiting for it to dry. You have to put glue on, wait for it to dry (couple hours), do the mickey ears, wait for it to dry (probably 3 hours), paint the front, wait for it to dry (about 3 hours), paint the back, then the instructions on the paint say wait 3 days for it to dry before you wash it. They were definitly super dry before the 3 day mark, but we waited anyhow since we had the time. You could always give it a try. If you decide to do it, PM me, I have a few little tips for you!

Doing our shirts tonight, not so adventurous, just iron on print outs but I hope all works out. We leave in a week so I don't have much time to redo them.

We made Drinking Around the World tshirts, will post pics if they turn out. They have spaces on the back to check off the country and a line for what we had. We are going to do Epcot with our best friends, so it should be fun.

For the kids, my DD picked out a Stitch picture and then my DH added Stitch's #1 fan on it, for DS Wreck it Ralph's logo and face.

Simple but I think that's all I can handle this trip.

Congratulations! I'm interested in finding out if the times you picked in advance work out when you are at the park.

When we were at the MK on Friday, we got a Surprise Fast Pass for Dumbo when we got a FP for the Princess Meet and Greet. That's the first surprise FP we got in a long time!

I am trying to book MNSSHP tickets. I don't know why I did not think of doing that before. I need to cancel Pirates and Pals. But I really think my 2 DD's will LOVE MNSSHP.
Their sytem is down right now so I don't know if its sold out.

Nah. Sept dates won't be sold out. I usually wait until I am there to buy my tix so I know the weather is being friendly. I still purchase day before to get the discount.

Thanks, that does sound like too much stress and too rushed for me at this point. I still have one more dress I want to sew. Maybe for my trip next year! They are adorable, though!

I plan on upgrading to AP, if its sure to not sell out. I will wait til im there.

Yes, we met Rapunzel, Cindy, and Belle! The FP return time was for 30 minutes later. And the return time for Dumbo was an hour later.

Thanks

Ok I just called, and the system is still down, but once its up I can pay the AP price for the tickets, then I can upgrade to AP once I get there and then show my AP to pick up my tickets!!!

We just got back last night from WDW and can't wait for ourn ext trip in January because of seeing all of Fantasyland open up. To our surprise yesterday after being inside Mickey's Philharmagic an announcement was made that Disney is doing a testing on one of the new attractions at Fantasyland and if we had an hour to spare and would like to take part please head back to the blue construction walls and cast members will direct you from there. So of course we went to check it out, we only had 1.5 hours until we had to catch the ME to the airport but we weren't going to miss this opportunity to be some of the first to see parts of the new Fantasyland additions. :dance3:

DD had a Belle outfit on and the CMs leading us into Fantasyland kept making a fuss over DD. So we started to think we were going to see some of the new Beauty and the Beast areas of Fantasyland.

Just let me tell you the details we saw were AMAZING :cloud9: .

We got to enter in Maurice's cottage. Hanging on a wall is a picture of Belle as a child with her mom. There is also a growth chart of Belle on one of the walls. We of course had our DD stand next to it to see where she compared with Belle. There is even the book that Belle is reading in the movie and the sheep took a bite out of the page sitting on a table inside the cottage.

Then they take you into Maurice's workshop. There are blueprints all over the place and a beautiful mirror hanging on one of the walls. We made sure to stand in front of the mirror. Once everyone is inside, the CM tells you no more flash photography and asks us to repeat after him. "Show us the night Belle and Beast fall in love" The mirror then transforms into a doorway and we are asked to walk through. It was so magically to see the mirror transform and then walk into Beast's castle. :wizard:

Once inside the castle, which is breathtaking , another CM is there with the enchanted wardrobe. Yes, there is a lifesize talking/animated wardrobe inside this room. They explain that the Beast wants to surprise Belle by having us "villagers" help retell the story of how they met. They ask for villagers to help act out the parts. DH was picked to be one of the "marching" knights. The villager actors are given props for their roles and we all practice our "parts".

We are then lead into the Castle Library and Luminaire is on the mantle to meet us along with two additional CMs. The actors are asked to take their places and the rest of us "villagers" are asked to take a seat on three different rows of benches. We decided to sit on the far right side of the room up front to be position in front of DH. WHich happened to be a great spot because we were seated right next to the door that Belle entered and exited. Everyone acted out their parts and they had a Photopass photographer taking pictures. All the actors got a bookmark from Belle and a special photopass card with Belle on the card. I wasn't planning on buying photopass from this trip but now I might be tempted once I load up all our cards.

I am so excited that we got see this firsthand and now can't wait to see the rest of fantasyland in January. :cloud9: Just wanted to share with all of you going in September that you might be able to see some of the new Fantasyland on your trip. GOOD LUCK :goodvibes
