So I finally get my on-line check in done last night, and I too could not put a request in. Error of course...

Question: in the requests there was a Calypso building request but I am booked as preferred, isn't Calypso the only preferred building at All Star Music...???

Should I be calling them and requesting it?

On another note: I am finally in single digits till my vacation...9 days to go!!! woot woot

It must be the way they have set up the options for the ASMu online check in. Yes, unless it has changed, Calypso is the only preferred building. There are actually two Calypso buildings - one on either side of the center walkway through the resort, but they are both called Calypso and just have different building numbers. I'd call

I thought the steak at Shula's was overpriced and not very tasty...we are ranchers, so I was looking for an awesome steak that I couldn't get at home. I had one last night in a hole-in-the-wall bar in Kansas that put Shula's to shame. Guess that's why we raise and prepare our own.

Okay, thanks to the long weekend and having my husband home, I got some serious crafting and packing done this weekend!! I think I am about finnished, just need to do some finishing touches! I don't know what I'm gonna do with myself when I don't have a disney trip in the near future!! Guess it's a good thing i'm looking for a job!!

I'm really starting to get excited. I just need to remind myself that we are leaving on friday the 14th, and not this coming friday. I keep forgeting...

Oh My- Just 2 more sleeps and half a day of school and we will be on the road to WDW!!!!!!!!! I've been trying to pack today. I think I have every thing for me and I still have to get my son's stuff together. As long as I don't get called in to work tomorrow, I should be doing fine. The car was cleaned out and movies and music packed. I am hoping to have everything together by the time the kids get home from school. I am so excited, but a little scaried too. This will be the first time I'm driving the 8 hours by myself. It will all be good once I get there. Safe travels to everyone leaving soon!

Ugh, so about being almost done with crafting...while I do have most of it done, I just messed up 2 out of the 3 t-shirts I have left to do. And to make it worse, they aren't even for my family, so I'm gonna have to make new ones. I'm just irritated that time wise it puts me father behind and it's more money i'm going to have to spend. *sigh* I just wish it was time for me to be in disney already. I'm sick of waiting...

Ugh. Sorry about your t-shirts! I bought transfers today -- but i also ordered the kids some Mickey shirts from Target just in case mine are a fail.

I have given up all hope of getting hairbows made in time. I'm just going to get them from Etsy.

WooHoo! 2 weeks until we are stepping off the plane at MCO!!!!

Speaking of t-shirts...We made a few and bought a few, but I had my biggest eureka moment a couple days ago. I bought matching LM shirts for us all from Wal-mart for our arrival day, but they were in the teen section and I don't want to look poured into my shirt. Soooo, I was going to slit the sides and add panels of fabric. Too much work. Then I realized that I could just cut the design off the front and iron it onto a different t-shirt. Now that this concept has dawned on me, I can take really cute designs off kids shirts and put them on a large adult ones, so families of all sizes can have matching tees. It really doesn't cost much more because adult printed shirts are always $3+ more than kids and you can get a plain shirt for that price.- I feel so smart.

First day of school today here in Canada....woot woot...

I don't know how you guys pack so early, I don't have enough clothes to still wear and have the rest packed. I would be walking around naked if I packed. It is still hot here, hot and humid today. I have to pack a day or two before or I may run out of underwear

8 days till my airplane ride to paradise!!!
