Ouch...in case you haven't heard....

As of March 21st, 2012 the price of Disney’s PhotoCD will be $169.95. If you're planning to order a PhotoCD, take advantage of the current price and order yours before the 21st of this month.

The current price for ordering a CD of photos already in your account is $149.95. No word on whether the Pre-Visit advance order price of $99.95 will be affected (http://www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitoffer.aspx).

Thanks for the heads up I had not heard that! I think I will pre-order now before the increase just in case the pre-order goes up too!

I am so excited! My husband just surprised me with an earlier trip than we originally plan, by a year!

It will be me, DH, and DS 8, DS 6, and DS 21mos(ages at time of travel).

We are booked at POFQ Sept 20th-Sept 29th, 7 days of MYW tix plus free dining.

I can't believe ADR time is next week!

So this is my rough draft of an itinerary:

Fri-Start at MK
-breakfast on the go
-lunch CS wherever we are
EP in pm
-dinner at Le Cellier (the one place I have NEVER been, but always wanted to....it was the last place we had ADRs in sept 09, but we were so exhausted that we cancelled and ate POP pizza, and all got food poisoning!)

Sat- Start at AK
-bk on the go or me and DS8 at dinoland bk buffet
-late lunch at hotel or CS in AK as we leave
rest at hotel
7p Dinner Show-thinking Luau this night
MK closes 11p this night, so I may bring DS8 to ride some rides

Sun- sleep in, bk in room/hotel
HS all day
-maybe no lunch, just a snack
-early dinner Fantasmic pkg not sure where yet

Mon-IOA- Harry Potter, possibly Marvel
-bk on the go
-lunch at 3 broomsticks or hogs head
US to see Shrek, and a few other areas
-dinner at CS or whatever, play by ear

Tues-MK -bk on the go (or DS8 and I may go to CP or CM)
-lunch at CS wherever we are
-Dinner Show HDD 7p

Wed-MK -bk on the go
-lunch at LTT or CS
-dinner at CS or LTT
this is EP EMH PM, so depending on moods we may go ride rides

Thurs HS in am
-bk on the go
-lunch CS or Pizza Planet
EP in pm Dinner at Rose and Crown or Japan

Fri MK in am bk on the go or Ohana with DS8
lunch just a snack
EP for F&WF Dinner Eating around the world

Sat check out and go to DTD
bk at hotel
lunch at DTD(not sure yet)
dinner on the drive home


Our last trip in 2009 we had the deluxe dining and we had at least 2-3 TS meals a day. It was miserable. Too much food! Also my DS6 (3 at that time) did not do well. We later found out that he has mild Autism, so I know all the sit down meals won't work for him. Which is also why I plan on taking my oldest for some character meals by myself.

So how does this look? Any suggestions?

Wow, another big increase! Maybe they'll offer more "specials" or discount codes in the future? I've never purchased the CD, but probably won't in the future unless we split the cost with other family members. Personally, we have never received PhotoPass pictures that were worth any of our money!

I did that back in 2009. When we got the cd we had maybe 10 good photos...I would have been very angry had I paid full price. This time I won't being pre-purchasing. I might get a few photopass pictures taken, and have them use my camera to take certain shots.

We'll be at POFQ from Sept 18-25th!!! I can't wait to make my ADR's next Thursday!!! One less thing to think about!


A friend of mine posted about the new Photopass princing on Facebook. I will definately be purchasing mine this week. We always buy the photo cd. We typically have about 200 photos taken in a week and once I'm done editing them, we have almost 500-600!!! (I can't resist the borders and all the little extras) We stop at every single photographer that we see...drives my family nuts...but I love having everyone together in the pictures. It shows that I actually exist and I'm not just the trip photographer.

I pre ordered the Photo Pass CD when we went last Sept but I didn't think you could order it this far in advance. Is that true? I would pre order it now for our trip this Sept if it's allowed this far off. We took advantage of as many of the photographers that we could. Once I was done with all the edits and boarders we had over 1000 pictures! They came out so cute! Does anyone know if there is a time limit to the pre order?

Like a previous poster said, go ahead and order it now for Sept. Once I get my email from Photopass, I put it in my "vacation" folder in my email. That way it doesn't get deleted! A credit just goes in your photopass account and I've never had a problem with it expiring.

Exactly why we're getting it. Plus it's our first time, so I want every cheesy photo. We'll be there for 8 days, so that is plenty of pictures to rack up, plus MNSSHP as well.
