Official September 2012 planning thread! List on page 30!

We are only doing 2TS meals...LeCellier and CG. We'll be cooking in our villa mostly. EoS is our only CS must do! Doing the F&WF for the first time. I have to admit, I will miss having more TS meals!!

We usually go end of August, beginning of Sept but, it's been getting too crowded-DH is not good with crowds. So, we are gonna try Sept 18th through the 25th. Just waiting on a pin now:surfweb:

Hi! DH and I are going this September too. :cool1: As of now we are staying at POFQ 9/16 - 9/21. We may switch to POP and add two nights for 9/15 - 9/22. I should be deciding for sure within the next week or so.

So so so hoping for free dining.

Right now these are our tentative ADR's:

9/16 - MK - LTT -dinner
9/17 - DHS - MM - dinner
9/18 - Epcot - Biergarten - dinner
9/19 - AK - Yak & Yeti - lunch
9/20 - MK - GF Cafe - dinner

May also add Raglan Rd for dinner on our AK day.

We are going to FQ the 4th-17th. It's our first time there. I picked this resort so fingers crossed its a good one! Any inside tips?
We are also doing Ohana for dinner for the first time this trip. I hope to get a good time so we can watch the Water Parade and Wishes from the beach. Any suggestions on what time to try to get our ADR?

Thanks! Can't wait til Sept comes!!! :yay:

:yay:Our ADR windows for September trips are quickly approaching! :yay:

Where is everyone planning on eating during their stays? Our must do's are 'Ohana for dinner and Tusker House for breakfast. My husband's must do is an early Le Cellier dinner, before it gets too crowded in there, usually really close to 5pm.

I may try a place or two I've never ventured before, this trip. I'd like to try Jiko, but I have to be careful if my husband is actually going with us again this trip because he is the world's pickiest eater.

My DH piped in this morning with a few places he wants to eat this trip. I was totally surprised, because he normally just has me make ADR's and goes wherever. He wants to go back to Coral Reef and he wants to try Mama Melrose, which we've never tried. We may do the Fantasmic package, not sure yet.

I know we want to do Tusker House and Akershus for breakfast. Le Cellier and Sci-Fi for lunch. Coral Reef, Mama Melrose and 'Ohana for dinner. We're just going to do CS or eat in the room for anything else. We aren't doing DDP this time. We may end up at a breakfast at 'Ohana. Not sure on that one yet, but dd loves Stitch and we usually eat there on our last morning.

Just wanted to adjust our dates. Our new dates are Sept 18-25th and we are definately booked at POFQ. Thanks!

We're planning on going back to Tusker House for breakfast and Akershus for a lunch. We're thinking about Hollywood & Vine also for a breakfast mainly because Jake is there now and also because of Oso

Tusker for breakfast, Ohana for Dinner, Sanaa for dinner. Still trying to figure out everyplace else.

We are hoping to get:
Ohana-dinner
Tusker House-not sure breakfast/lunch...suggestions?
Crystal Palace--dinner
Garden Grill--dinner
Chef Mickeys--breakfast
Liberty Tree--dinner
Mama Melrose--dinner
Plaza--dinner for the Halloween party...
Norway--dinner
Raglan Road--dinner before La Nouba
Tutto Italy--dinner
House of Blues--brunch
Cape May--dinner

We have eaten at all these places except Ohana, Italy and House of Blues. Any suggestions? Keep? change? What to order?

Thanks so much. I hope everyone has a great vacation :yay:

Since they now have characters at lunch, as well as breakfast, I'm tempted to do lunch at Tusker House instead of breakfast. The only thing about that is that I don't know if my picky eater husband would be ok with the middle eastern/Indian esque menu.

We are going to do a 1900 Park Fare dinner this trip, my daughter and I decided, probably an early one before MNSSHP. I'm looking forward to dining with the Step Sisters. We've done breakfast there, but not dinner.

I'm too excited to not share this!! I had booked 6 nights at POR 9/9 - 9/15 using a 20% off room only code. This morning I got a new pin code that gave us an upgrade to a Royal Guest Room for LESS than what we were quoted with the 20% off!!! It wasn't much savings, about $25, but considering we were booked in a Standard View room now a ROYAL room for a bit less, it's so exciting!!!!:woohoo:

I'm wondering if Free Dining were to come out for the time we will be there, if I will want to sacrifice our room for extra savings (if it comes down to having to change rooms to receive a FD discount). I'm one who usually will go with anything to save money, but the idea of having a Royal Room AND be saving $450 off regular prices is pretty awesome to me!!

We'll see if any other pins or discounts come our way, but for now I'm THRILLED with what we have booked!:yay:

Kona and Ohana for sure! My sister did her college internship as a chef at Kona so she excited to get back and see it!

I finally got around to planning our single day in the parks!

Our ADR date is next Wednesday and we will be eating at Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. It will be a nice end to a long day at MK before we head out for our cruise the following morning! :cool1:

My family and I will be there September 16-25 doing a split stay.

16-22 at Bay Lake Tower
22-25 at Boardwalk Villas

We are very excited!

Still waiting on early Fall offers to arrive!

I'm so happy to see this thread! I wish I'd known about it back in October. :) Planning my 5 yo daughter's first trip to Disney: 8/29/12 - 9/5/12. I've been annoying all my friends and family who aren't going on the trip with my incessant planning. Now I have somewhere to come hang out. Hooray!
