Count me in!! 9/19-9/25!!

I am sooo excited!!!! we booked last night for POR Sept 16-22nd!! It will be my DS2 first trip!!! I was able to convince my DH after the free dining came out and the great deal we scored! I can't wait. Now its on to the planning!

I called yesterday and switched us back to "home"! We're now staying at the Polynesian instead of POR. I'm thrilled!!!

I have you all added and updated!!!

I usually buy a bunch of those .99 cent throwaway ones - nothing wet to carry around after it rains that way.

I'm hoping for good weather this time around. Last year, it POURED on us the day we went to DHS. Emptied the place out, though!

Hello Everyone! I finally found the Sept 2012 thread yeah!

Can you please add me to the list: Sept 12-21 POP please.

I am so excited...can't wait for the ADRs to open for my dates, starting to get nervous. Have done Free Dining 4 times now and am thinking this year, we are going to shake it up and try restaurants we have not gone to yet. We have our faves but will try some new ones, Yak and Yeti and Teppan Edo !!! Anyone been to these???

My faves....Ohana both Breakfast and Dinner and love Biergarten....Mama Melrose too! SciFi is great too.....oh I am getting hungry just thinking about it!!!

Trying new restaurants is always fun!!! I haven't tried Yak and Yetoor Teppan Edo...but I hear great things!! Mmmm....I could go for some breakfast at Ohana!!!!

We are going Sept 23rd - Sept 29th. Staying at the CBR in a Pirate room.

We are surprising the kids. We usually go to my parents during the summer so they should think that is were we are going. I wonder when they will notice we are going to Disney World. Maybe when we get on the Disney bus!! I can't wait to see their faces. My parent and my brother and sister are also going.

Really want to get ADR's at CRT and Chef Mickey.

Hey, cool - I didn't realize there was an actual September group board - YAY! I've been posting on the September 2012 Code Watch board.....can I join your community here?

We are going on our first family Disney vacation this year. It will have been 38 years since I was last at WDW, and it's been about 35 years for DH (sheesh, are we old, or what? ).

So we are booked for a cabin at Ft Wilderness Sept 14 - 22- me, DH, DS (8), and DD (5). My MIL / FIL will also be joining us for our trip. I'm as excited as the kids if not more, DH thinks I'm nuts for getting so hyped up & planning this far in advance.

LOL! Thank you - It's nice to know I have a place to share my excitement with other like-minded folks. I am a natural born planner, DH and his family are all last minute fly by the seat of their pants people - it makes for an interesting mix

Thanks for the warm welcome - I actually used that exact phrase on DH, "trip of a lifetime". I hope this will be the first of many WDW trips to come with the kids, and who knows - maybe grandkids someday too!

Does anyone have any tips for dealing with the Sept heat/humidity on a trip with a 5 yo? This will be my DD's first trip to WDW. I'm definitely planning on getting to parks early and then taking a break in the middle of the day, but I'm worried she's going to melt!

We did an umbrella stroller for DD when she was 4-6. DH didn't want to bring it when she was 5 so an "I told you so.." moment happened while he was paying $50 for 1 of the red ones they sell at the parks There is nothing worse than a tired & hot 5 year old. She will be 7 when we go this year & I think she'll be able to handle it.

Anyone get booked under FD? We ended up having to upgrade from a garden view room to a king room at POFQ in order to get it. But in the end, a king room with regular DDP for free cost less than 2 queens/garden view with QSDP, so I'm a happy girl!

POFQ, MNSSHP, and Free Dining - look out WDW, we're coming back!

Thanks! I'd been debating the stroller idea, but I think we're going to have to plan on one now.
