Official September 2012 planning thread! List on page 30!

I've already made a list as well of restaurants we'd like to re-vist and first-time visit this trip too!

Already been:
Ohana (was our fav last trip!)
Tusker House (best breakfast)
Biergarten (My family's german so I grew up eating this type of food)
50's Primetime (loved the antics and the milkshakes are to die for!)
Crystal Palace (main street before park opening. Nuff said.)

Never been:
Cape May
Le Cellier
Teppan Edo
Akershus
Coral Reef
Chefs de France

I have too many Epcot restaurants though, as we'll probably spend 2 days at Epcot and we won't have park hoppers since it's too much hassle to travel between parks with 4 kids and a stroller. We'll go to Akershus for sure as I have a 7 yr old princess and the castle is one we'll never do again. It was soo rushed and food was terrible. Definitely something to do once I think, but never again, especially at 2 credits.

Can't wait! Now if only Sept promos would come out so I can officially book! :woohoo:

A lot of your ADRs are what I have planned, too! :thumbsup2

I am patiently waiting for the schedule to be released so I can STOP fidgeting with days according to Touringplans.

Ours are
1900 Park Fare (dinner)
Tusker House (bfast)
Chef Mickey's (dinner)
San Angel (dinner)
'Ohana (bfast)
50's PTC (dinner)
Akershus (bfast)

2 of my kids will be celebrating their bdays while we're in Disney....how are the cakes there? I make cakes, so my kids are used to elaborate ones. I'm not willing to spend $75+ on someone else to make it lol.

I was thinking of getting a custard and strawberry filled with whipped cream for DD at 1900 PF and then getting DS #2 a basic choc/choc with a Pirates screen print at Contemporary. Anyone had those before? DS #1 had his 5th birthday in Disney and he just wanted a cupcake at Chef Mickeys :(

My DH and I are meeting a good friend in September and DH's only requirement was to try new places. My friend and I have done most of the planning over the phone and once the park hours and MNSSH schedule posted we will finalize. Her and I have travelled to WDW together before and have been friends for over 25 years. Thus far we have these ADRs to make:

Breakfast Kouzzina
Tea at the Grand Floridian
Prime Time Diner
Le Cellier Lunch
Paradise 37 Dinner
Biergarten Dinner (not my choice but I'm game)
Citricos Dinner
Yachtsman Dinner
Portobello Dinner
Artist Point Dinner
Tokyo Dining Dinner
Grand Floridian Cafe breakfast

Everyones ADR's sound great so far. DH wants to try some new places this trip, but he also wants his favorites (and there are A LOT) so this is what we have so far

Ohanas dinner (family favorite)
Le Cellier (late lunch/early dinner fav meal of both trips!)
Liberty Tree Tavern dinner
50's Prime Time (havent been in years!)
Le Chefs D' France
Coral Reef
Tutto Italy (amazing food!)
Crystal Palace breakfast
Chef Mickeys breakfast (unsure of this one)
CRT (this is always a must do as DH proposed right before dinner here! :lovestruc)

We have two more meals we need to decide on, but I want to wait till the hours are offically released so we can decide on the park we plan to be at to eat accordingly. Id love to try Whispering Canyon, but I hate having to take the bus, than the boat, etc. Id take a taxi, but were a large group this trip so itd be a bit of a hassle. Also, depending on how we like T-Rex in March, it might make it to the September list. Thankfully I have lots of time to decide

On the topic of reservations, I was thinking:
Crystal Palace for Breakfast
Ohana for either Dinner or Breakfast - not sure yet
Sci Fi Dine In for lunch
Hollywood and Vine for lunch
Yak and Yeti for lunch
Akershus for dinner --- this one mostly for the princesses for my DD - anyone have any comments on this one?Tony's Town Square for dinner

We have one more ressie to make for dinner for our first full day. We will be doing Crystal Palace for breakfast that day and thinking I want to do another place in a resort or MK, any thoughts?

We do breakfast there. We have tried both lunch and dinner but my family is very picky and the enjoy breakfast there rather than lunch and dinner.

Stopping by to say "Hi"
Had an amazing time last week at our first time at POP. Would definately stay there again. Now I can start thinking about when I am going in Sept. Still thinking the end of the month maybe Sept 26 to Oct. 1st. (so we can check out the Food and Wine Festival) We will be staying at the Dolphin again so not making any adrs. (since even if they offer free dining we won't get it) Love Shulas at the Dolphin and the other restaurants there too so okay with just eating there or at the restaurants on the Boardwalk.

Count us in!!! Me, DH, DD (4), and DS (2). We're staying at POP. Haven't been since last July so excited to go back!!!

We did Askerhus for our daughter last Junary. The dinner buffet was ok. I only went up once but I think my husband went up twice. The princess interaction was great! We never felt rushed and they really took time to make her feel so special. I think seeing Belle when we walked in the door waiting "just for her" made it amazing. We are planning to go again but, breakfast this time.

Hi we are going 9/16 - 9/28 havent picked our hotel out yet, waiting for the specials to be announced.
We will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary:lovestruc and my DD will be turning 7 after we return so we are celebrating that at the same time
Cant wait to start planning everything!!

We'll be there at the same time!!! :) We're booked at Movies! :)

Got a Game On PIN today and booked a room only at POR for 9/15-9/22, despite the fact that our original plans were to go in September of 2013!
Boy does Disney know how to suck me in! In speaking to the CM, I told him how I was waiting for free dining to come out for September. He was not very optimistic, stating that many people booked that last fall, and they have heard nothing that it is being offered again for this year. I will be so disappointed. Please Disney, don't break tradition now!

I got a pin yesterday too. 20% off values, mods, and WL or AKL during most of September. My husband and I are staying at the Contemporary, and I don't want to switch. It isn't somewhere we would take the kids, so I don't think we will be using our pin. :sad2: But it was still cool to get some Mickey mail!

We did breakfast at Akershus in September and had a blast - food was great - my daughter and our bff's daughter loved it - and you're right, they never rushed the girls at all - unlike some of the outside character lineups... We might go when we go in September again but my daughter will be 9 and she isn't much into the princesses any more :sad2: too bad HS doesn't have a Star Wars one - she'd go to that in a heart beat!! :cool1:
