WE just found out that we have been given a trip. We will be at Animal Kingdom Lodge from Sept. 9th-15th. I AM SO EXCITED!!!

We'll be there Sept. 24-Oct. 1. My parents are celebrating their 40th anniversary by taking their 6 grandkids (10, 8, 7, two 5 year olds, and age 2) to Disney World for Halloween. Originally parents weren't allowed, just the kids, but since the grandparents are coming from MI, my sister from CO and we're in TX, they had to relent in order for the grandkids to get to FL. My husband and I are staying at POFQ while the kids will be with the grandparents at Saratoga Springs. It will be nice to have some time alone with my husband, which we haven't had since 2005, but yet still do family things with our kids and nieces and nephews. My mom, sister and I are all running in the Wine and Dine 5K, while the kids are doing the kid races. We're also doing the Pirates and Pals Fireworks cruise, Mickey's Halloween party and a character dinner to celebrate my son's and nieces September birthdays. I don't know who's more excited, my kids or me!

Hi, just a question, I see several posters here mention that they have made partial payments for their trips...are you booking through the Disney website/travel agent/expedia???? I never knew it was possible to put a deposit down and make payments on a trip, can someone explain please

I'm not sure about Expedia, but if you book through Disney or a travel agent, you are able to make several payments for your trip. You make your initial deposit, then can make as many payments as you like until your balance due date. I know several people who have done this.

She probably never will... especially if she never experiences it herself. But you are not alone.... many adults go without kids! (myself included)

We are very excited. Booked at All Star Music September 25-30. We got our ADR and now just have to wait the 5 months. We are staying off site on the 24th, and 30th.

Well I finially have my dates locked in and my dinning reservations done.

Our group will be there Sept 14-24th staying a Port Orleans Riverside. It will be a great trip with 11 people with only 2 new people. It will be a easy trip with a few new things to try out.
