***Official Planning Thread -DECEMBER 2024 - Welcome all!***

We have the cruise payment due next month as well. Flights were covered by airmiles but we booked an extra long trip. We’re screwed. ADR window will open next week. We were budgeting $2k for 5 of us. There should be at least a 3 month notice!

It's just a pilot for now so I don't think there will be any effect on availability and waits with the regular LLMP already offered.

I just like shiny new things and want to try it!

Yeah, we will do MK for two of us. Luckily we can swing it. Would never do it for more than one day per trip.

For $2,245 (for 5 people) at MK we should not have a limit on the number of times we can ride. Otherwise the LLMP is better. It’s only available for deluxe guests.

Thrilled that this is announced! So sad that our day is Whoopie Goldberg. I love her but I'm terrified that this is going to make the dining package near impossible to book.

When they say that reservations open on October 29th, do they mean at midnight EST or at 6am EST?
(It drives me crazy that Enchanting extras are at midnight and dining is at 6!)

To those of you who are visiting on NYE - what is your plan that day?

We are planning to go to Epcot, along with approximately one million of my closest friends.

We are going a day before to MK. I watched Paging Mr Morrow and Kyle Pallo’s video on NYE at Epcot (decided against it with younger kids, so we will be flying). There are so many bottlenecks but seemed cool to be able to celebrate each country’s New Years as it happens and each country does something different.

Honestly even at MK the crowds were cranky and miserable 1-6 pm. After 6 pm, everyone got into the party atmosphere and we had a blast at the Tomorrowland DJ Party.

Hey all! I'm just reading the internet today and with new LL pass news, the Cake Bake Shop, etc., seems like a lot of opinions out there! 😂
Let's keep our little thread free of judgement on who does what, who likes what, who spends what and whatever! I haven't seen it here, but just in case. I don't want anyone to feel upset.

I love our thread because it's one of the only places that I feel like I can be excited for the trip without someone explaining to me why I shouldn't be going to Disney. :D

Okay, carry on!

The Epcot one seems crazy!!! It's like it turns into Vegas for one night only! 😂

I can click on 12/26 but both 12/25 & 12/26 have no hours. Someone fell asleep at the wheel. Chatted with a CM and the answer I got is I’ll know when my window opens up next week. ‘Why do I bother!’-Timon.

Does anyone know what dining is typically included with the the package? Debating whether I want to change up our dinner we already have booked or not lol
From the Disney Parks Blog announcement:

"Here’s what’s included with your meal:
  • At Spice Road Table: 2 small plates, a shared tagine, a shared dessert platter and a nonalcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage for Guests 21 and older)
  • At Other Participating Restaurants: An entrée and dessert, or a full buffet (where applicable)—as well as a nonalcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage for Guests 21 and older)"
The list of restaurants:

Biergarten Restaurant
Chefs de France
Coral Reef Restaurant
Garden Grill Restaurant
La Crêperie de Paris
La Hacienda de San Angel
Le Cellier Steakhouse
Nine Dragons Restaurant
Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue
(same-day dining packages only)
Rose & Crown Dining Room
Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya
Spice Road Table
Teppan Edo
Tutto Italia Ristorante
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

No prices yet, which is frustrating. I'm hoping for Biergarten - I like the menu at Spice Road Table but it doesn't seem like quite enough food after a full day of walking? Especially for the price ($55 last year, probably more this year).
