Official "ONEderland by Spring" Check In Thread

Ok. If any of you have read my journal, you know that I am quite upset with a pound gain I had this morning. I've been on induction for a week and I did lose a few that I had gained after one day of being bad last week.:rolleyes:

So I am very serious now. (Well, as much as I can be:D ) For the next three days (at least) I will be having mostly meat. NO cheese :( or "extra stuff" like protein bars. My official WI is Saturday, so I will update you then.
 
Aw darn, up a lb. this week to 220. I eat 1,000 low-carb calories a day, I exercise religiously at Curves, I walk whenever possible, and I'm taking in water and protein. So how the heck did I gain????

Did I mention I also had a gastric bypass and I'm not supposed to be absorbing that whole 1000 calories yet???? YEESH!!!!

I doubt I'll make it by spring, but I was really hoping to make it. Sigh.

I have been looking forward to reaching 199 forever! I thought I would have been there by December, but the holidays messed me up. In January I was 203, but went up to 206 and I had to get myself back on track. Well I am now at 201 and when the scale hits 199 everyone is going to know it! WATCH OUT WORLD!!

I put the 40 pound clippie in my siggie as inspiration. If I see it, that will push me to get there. I've been looking at the 35 clippie since late November and it's old :rolleyes: :p , so I give myself motivation to finally reach 40. I'm only about 3 pounds from it. 198 would be 40 pounds....send some pixie dust okay?

Oops, forgot to check in this week! I stayed the same, but we went out on Saturday evening for dinner so, I am fine with maintaining. I honestly don't think I am going to make it to Onederland by March 20, but hopefully by Easter (and definetly by my birthday in May). And you know what... it took me a LONG time to gain and hold on to this weight, so it is okay that it takes me a bit longer than I would like to lose it. (Patience is a virtue after all! :D )
Funny, after all the stressing about not losing, I realize I wasn't gaining, and should be proud of that fact. Plus, I have lost over 50lbs from my heaviest weight, and think that is pretty good! :D (Hope I don't break my arm patting myself on the back!:p )

Good Sunday Morning, All! The scale is finally moving and I am down 1.5lbs to 214.5 YES! Closer and closer to ONEderland. How did everyone do with Valentine's Day? DH bought me some wonderful SF chocolates from my favorite candy place. I had too many, and paid for it later :D but they were so good! Now I have to ration the rest out to one piece a day. Oh, well. THIS IS ALL GOING TO BE SO WORTH IT, right?

i havent been on my healthy eating for a while it started with my surgery and got off track.. well i m back on.. I gained only five pounds while I was off... well Im back In the last week I have lost 3 pounds. I started out at 250 now im at 227...i hope I can get to 199 by spring..:genie: :wizard: :scratchin
 
Count me in - I'm at 212 now and if I push myself I can make it to 1-derland by the end of march!
 
Still in that blasted plateau.....been loosing and gaining the same three pounds, though this AM I was back at the low end, so I'm using that as motivation to NEVER let those 3 lbs back! I'm just going to focus on that goal for the next week and not worry about the 17 I want to lose by Easter! I KNOW I have to kick up (heck....do any!) exercise to get through this.

Onwards and downwards everyone!
 
OK, Ms. Woosh Fairy visited over the weekend (probably had something to do with that violent virus I contracted, lol) and I am back down to 217. 18 to go! That's not such a big number, is it? So why is it going so slow!!!!!

sln88: I'm with you on the summer thread. I have managed to stay on program for 2 days now, which is quite an accomplishment for me since about Thanksgiving. Still I don't expect to reach onderland in a month.
 
Me either. I am thinking of it as "Onederland in Spring" not BY spring anymore. But thats okay, cause we will get there.. doesn't matter when!

215 on the home scale this week. That's 2 lbs. for the week. I thought I had done better, but boy, has this slowed down.
 
Not even attempted anything yet with this newly diagnosed hypothyroid!

Anyone else suffer with this and what diet works best???

Promise as soon as I feel better I will make a start. going to be Summerwonderland for me though!
 
I have severe hypothyroidism. I am on a very high does of Synthroid. It makes loosing weight very hard. I tried to double up on my medicine a few years back. It made me so very ill. So...onward and downward. Slow and steady wins the race.
 
I'm hypothroid too. My weight loss has been sssllllooooooowwwwww but worth it! I'm looking at ONEderland by summer at this point too- 10 lbs. to go in less than a month for Spring. Oh weel! It's the effort that counts! :D
 
Well, I have faced the music, so to speak. I am not going to make it even by the beginning of summer.

BUT................ if anyone thinks they can make it, even by the END of spring, I say no problem!

I will still stay on board to give any updates.
