how i love Autumn snuggled under a blanket and the house smells like gingerbread (yes i know it should smell like pumpkin but i was hungry for gingerbread
).

Things have been so hectic here and I am soooo behind! I hope everyone is doing well.
We'll be there Oct 11-18. My touring schedule looks like:
11th- arrive at 6:30p. Check in to SSR, then maybe DTD for CS dinner
12th- MK
13th- EP
14th- DHS
15th- AK am/ DTD pm
16th- No definite plans other than ADR @ WCC in the evening
17th- MK AM, Pirates League 11:20
18th- No idea again. Flight leaves at 5, so likely need to be SSR by 2. Will let the kids chose the park this day.
I'm too excited to sleep!![]()
I can never sleep the night before, either!!Have a wonderful trip!!
On another note, I am still trying to get a ride to the airport. We usually have my mom or my stepdad take us, but they haven't been real friendly lately (she only calls when she needs something). So....now I'm kinda stuck. The flight leaves at 6:35, so we need to leave our house no later than 4am. Which sucks because who seriously wants to drive me to the airport that early? ugh.....so, the search is on!![]()
of course i would but there are two things that re holding me back from volunteering.
1. I will be at Disney
2. I would have to start driving today (lol)
hope you find somebody, i know how stressful that is having to ask someone to wake up that early in the morning.
I appreciate the thought!! I think my best friend is thinking of volunteering, but then she would be at work by 5am and that's not very fair. If we have to, we'll park near the airport at one of those parking areas and take their shuttle over.
I know I can call my mom and stepdad...I just really don't want to. UGH doesn't even begin to describe it. And for a ride to the airport, it's not worth the hassle. I'd rather pay the $100 or so in parking fees. I'm sure my dad or stepmom will, but again.....I just hate putting anyone out.

Lisa - try a Chevy Equinox or Traverse. The Traverse is more expensive, but the Equinox has a lot more room than you expect. Hope that helps.
I can't believe it is only 15 days!!!!!!!I have been waiting about 25 years for this trip. My dh says I have lost my mind, because Disney is all I think or talk about
We will be at Pop Oct. 10-16. We are doing Chef Mickey's on 10/10, Hollywood and Vine and 50's Primetime on 10/12, Aker. Storybook Princess on 10/13, and CRT on 10/14

I like to minimize crisscross-crossing the park with DSis's wheelchair where possible. And to avoid bottle-neck crowds. People just have no sense when it comes to darting in front of us. I mean, those things don't stop on a dime.
Jessica - the owner of the UPS store I have been working with to get the transfers made, called me this morning.....IT WORKED. THEY ARE DONE.
I just wish he could help with the more important planning decisions - like what am I going to where for shoes with my Minnie costume?
Decided to take Jeff (DH) out for his birthday we went to a Teppondo type of restaurant - to see how the kids would react. While Kate (DD) didn't react while at all she got sick all over the car on the drive home.So needlessl to say I just cancelled Teppondo and got the french bistro one.
For those of you that don't know, Mike Schmidt is the best 3rd baseman. EVER. And he was a Philly (hey....I am from South Jersey! lol). He was awesome. Very gracious and allowed me to take multiple pics and talked to DS10. Wow! What an experience.
Then, we had my best friend's family come over last night for dinner and a movie. We watched X-Men: First Class. Our family had already seen it, but we didn't mind watching it again. I actually caught some things I missed.
Our countdown chain is getting shorter! DD has to use a step now:
And how was X-Men? I LOVE James McAvoy. I think bad thoughts about him.![]()

I did not think of this!Couldn't you get a taxi or van service? That might be cheaper than leaving you car parked while you are away. Especially if you can find a ride home when you get back from your trip.
This is my back-up plan. I did call my Stepmonster (her words, not mine) this morning and she said she would pass it along to my dad. I love her so much!!! Jeannie (stepmom) is too cool....she wasn't too sure of me at first (I think she thought I wouldn't like her), but she's a great person and listener (something my biological mother lacks).Look for a coupon for one of the park and fly places. I found one for $7.95 a day - cheaper with the coupon than to get a taxi for us. We would pay about $70 one way for a taxi.
Totally ok with you staying home and getting some much-needed sleep!Happy Monday all!!! Mondays are only better by the fact that it means 27 days!!
I will check this out. We were going back and forth with Ford this weekend over an Escape (Es-cap-ay!) and they just couldn't get us low enough. Had us down to the right number and then I realized they dropped the mileage down to 10,500. Dude, I drive an hour to work each day - one way. I can't be below 15K! So back to the drawing board.
And I'd take you to the airport but I don't think I'll make it there to get you, then to the airport, then to work on time and still get any amount of sleep!!! Can you do a shuttle or airport limo?
I'm glad you had a good experience with Michael Jack! I met him and he was a TOTAL JERK!!! I met him when I was teaching in Florida. I was the cheerleading coach and we were playing his son's football team. I was introduced by the coach and he blew me off. Dude, come one. I've heard similar stories about him. Goes to show you Philly loves you if you play. You don't have to be nice!

OK, laughing out loud at work makes people come check on me! You can't type things like that while I'm at work.

As for James McAvoy....me too!!!That man could talk to me anytime he wants!
DD name is just "kate" we have such a long last name we kept with very short first names. She does go by katy by her choice.
So, it looks like we overlap with you at Epcot on the 13th. But ALSO, we are staying at SSR also. We've requested Congress Park (for DTD view), but who knows where we will end up!
I can't believe there are only 11 days left before we leave! I was MIA today, we went to a photography night at the local Aquarium AND I've had a massive sinus headache all day. Our weather the last two days has been quite overcast and gloomy, and sometimes it just holds the pressure system in and my sinuses are not happy when that happens. Hopefully it's gone by tomorrow.
We are ensconced at BLT till till 10/7. Our router works like a charm so we are wireless in the room. We have a great view for this being a standard view studio.
Here is a pic from our balcony.

And of the fireworks.

Cool! Hopefully we'll see you at Epcot, if not at SSR.
How did you make your room request? Are you a DVC member? I rented points for my stay this time and haven't done anything yet to request a certain section. I know that Congress Park is obviously the most popular, and I'd love to stay there. I certainly won't be holding my breath though, since I know everyone wants there. We stayed at SSR in March and stayed in The Paddocks and liked it there too. It'd be even better now that the new Paddocks pool is open.![]()
Hope you're feeling better!
