Ok, since I know you all follow everything I say word for wordand remember way back early summer when I mentioned I saw a neurologist for my migraines and they found a lesion on my brain, I thought I'd post that I got the results of my follow up MRI today and the lesion is GONE!!!!!!!!
That's just something you have to tell as many people about as possible!! Back when it was first discovered I was being told it could be Lyme disease (negative) and it could be MS and it could be Lupus (still hasn't been ruled out), but more and more it looks like it is neurological side effects from Celiac disease, which I was just diagnosed with a little more than a month ago. I've been gluten free ever since. My neuro agrees the lesion was so small that the gluten free diet could absolutely have caused the reversal in the lesion. So hey, guess what?? Tonight I will

! I'm meeting up with some friends conveniently anyway.
Ok, I had to scream it out to the world, but I'm done now. Thanks!
66 days!!!
Woohoo! That is awesome news!!!

Okay - here's something to worry about....at least for those of us that will be there on the 28th.......
From TouringPlans.com:
"Vice President Joe Biden will be attending the Florida Democratic Convention being held at Disneys Contemporary Resort October 28-31, 2011.
Biden will be giving a speech as part of the convention on October 28, 2011. Expect delays in transportation to and from the Magic Kingdom and in particular to and from the Contemporary Resort due to increased security measures. Its likely they will limit access to the Contemporary Resort entirely during his visit as they have done in the past with such visits. Do not expect to visit the Contemporary just because or for shopping that day.
Delays with the Magic Kingdoms transportation system will be due to the proximity of the Contemporary Resort to the bus drop-off and the requisite motorcade when the VP travels. In the past these events have caused significant backups with the buses attempting to pick-up/drop-off at the Magic Kingdom."

Yesterday I made my costume for MNSSHP. When the ones I bought came in, they didn't fit. DH's Mario was too small, DS's Luigi was too small, and my Princess Peach made me look like Miss Piggy! So, I've changed gears again. We are going to do homemade costumes. DH and DS2 will still be Mario and Luigi, we will just be buying overalls/shirts/hats. And I decided to be a Wii remote. I didn't have a pattern, only an idea in my head and the actual Wii remote to use as a guide. I must say I am very proud of the result!
This picture is just the front panel and it is now complete. I goes to my knees and has plenty of room for shorts/shirt underneath. This is only my 3rd time ever sewing anything in my life. The other 2 times were aprons, which were much easier. (Please ignore the mess!)

You SHOULD be proud of yourself. I've never sewn anything worth while except a pillow that looked like a phone in home economics class in the 7th grade. I struggle to get DD's girl scout patches sewn on her brownie vest and don't even want to try and pick up a needle for other things because of it. I know you can buy glue stuff for the patches but that basically ruins the back and I want her to be able to take them off and put them somewhere else in the future since a lot of those patches can't be replaced.
ThanksIt's a few things from work and then some stuff has broken that has been killing my Disney fund. It'll be all right. The saying "when it rains it pours" is just fitting right now and I could use a break!
I hear that. The strange thing is we had a bunch of stuff go wrong before planning our first trip too. I won our second trip so I didn't have to pay anything up front and I guess that exempted it from the curse.
Fantasmic! every night in October!!! Here's the link...

Now I need to see if I should switch some days around. Some people may have thier plans in place and not change because of not rechecking the calendar.
Does this new info make anyone else want to switch things up? What to do, what to do...
(FYI, if you feel like you've read this post before, I also posted it in the other Oct. thread.)
Ugh, that actually disappoints me mostly because I would have planned on going if I had known it at the time. As it stands now we have our Illuminations Cruise planned the night of our DHS day.
I tend to babble when that happens. Can you tell my my thread count lately??Hang in there. We're on Disney credit at this point because of our crappy year, but I need this trip more than ever and it sounds like you do to!!
We are here to listen to you vent if you need to!!!
Disney credit, making even more money through interest. Yet I complain about not getting a pin.

I was wondering about this too because we are also doing the cruise on Oct. 8th. It does say Illuminations is at 9pm on the DIS. However the Unofficial Guide Touring Plans and (official) Disney websites both say it is at 10pm. They probably extended the hours because it is a Sat. night + F&W festival = big crowds.
Actually I went back to check and it looks like Epcot hours are 10pm on most Saturday's during F&W and the other days (except EMH) are the regular 9pm.
Ahh, that explains it. I didn't realize you were speaking of a Saturday and ours is on a Wednesday.
