How crowded is EP on the nights when there is a band?

I do not have an answer about how crowded Epcot is during the concerts but there is a concert for every night of the F&W Festival, 3 concerts a night 1st one being @ 5:15, and then 6 ? and 7:30?, going by last years times

Just saw on another thread that the official Disney park hours are now up!:cool1: Now, I just have to wait for MNSSHP tickets to go on sale and of course make my ADRS!:)

We are planning our first Disney trip for Oct. 10 -16!! We are also staying at POP. And we are celebrating dd's 7th bday and our 10th anniversary!! :woohoo: :yay:

Hi everyone! We are going to stay in POP from October 11th ~ 17th, celebrating a TRIPLE event! (My birthday, my son's birthday and our anniversary!:dance3:). We are planning this trip since the end of 2010, and for us will be the first (but not the last I hope!) trip to WDW. We will have to fly more than 5000 miles to get there!

By October we will be:

DW Ana 36, DS Matt 5 and me Ean 38

Thank you for all the information in this webpage, it has been very very useful for all of us!

We are planning our first Disney trip for October 10th -16th!!! I have been waiting my entire life for this and I can't wait. My dh promised me the day we married that he would take me. So, we are finally going for our 10 year anniversary and our dd's 7th birthday.:woohoo: We are staying at POP.

:jumping1:

Thanks for posting this ! :cheer2:

The good news hours are the same as posted by the TA Calendar

The bad news Disney.com Calendar does not even have the regular entertainment listed, ie. Fantasmic! Wishes, Illuminations, etc :confused3

Welcome to October!

So what do you think of this set-up for the list?? I'd like to be able to post actual times so please be specific! Also, even though many of you are posting tentatives, I'm not going to add them to the list until they are officially made, is that okay?

MARsMama: Mama Melrose (FDP)

Looks Great! MARsMama, how did you book your FDP? I tried to do it online today, but it is not showing any dates at all for October.:confused3

Congratulations and :welcome:

We will also be celebrating our 10th anniversary and DD's 7th birthday!

I got to make our ADR's this morning, we got everything we wanted, except the Fantasmic package is not open yet so I booked a backup res. at Sci-Fi.

I could use some opinion on my schedule (although I probably should have asked for it before I made my ADR's!

Some notes about us--we are early risers and never had a problem making it to the parks for RD the last time we were there. We tend to eat a light breakfast in the room, early CS lunch to beat the rush, early dinner and early night. Last trip we did not take mid-day breaks, just let DD sleep in the stroller while we looked around or found a shady place to rest. Not sure this time, though since DD6 won't have access to a stroller. We'll have to play it by ear. If we don't go back to the hotel, we'll try to find indoor, AC attractions for the afternoon. We are also not roller-coaster people, so many of the must-do attractions are must-don't for us! DD6 is a little braver than we are, though, so we may tough it out on the tamer rides for her sake--like Soarin', Test Track, BTMRR.

9/29 (Thurs) arrive mid morning, hang at hotel and relax, possibly go to AK to see the animals for a few hours if we feel like it. 5:40 ADR for Boma. I am hoping we can stay for storytelling around the fire.

9/30 (Fri) 4:45 ADR for Coral Reef. Even though EasyWDW doesn't recommend Epcot today due to the opening of F&W, it's the only other day we can fit it in (So we have 2 days at Epcot). We will be there for RD and hopefully get quite a bit done before crowds get heavy later in the day.

10/1 (Sat) 4:40 ADR for Tusker House. Hopefully be at AK early.

10/2 (Sun) 5:25 ADR for Sci-Fi. This is another time we are going against recommendations, because the kids will really enjoy the Disney Junior dance party they do with EMH. I am really hoping we don't regret this. Still unsure if we will do Fantasmic. Since we will be staying later, we probably won't get there at RD this day, just take the morning slow.

10/3 (Mon) 5:15 ADR for Cape May Clambake. Slow morning, do WS when it opens, walk over to BC for dinner reservations.

10/4 (Tues) 5:00 ADR for T-Rex. Our Off day! Laze around the pool, DTD for shopping and dinner.

10/5 (Wed) 8am breakfast ADR for H&V. Hopefully be done early enough to be at the head of the crowds rushing to TSM. Has anyone done the early breakfast at H&V? I'm not sure the timing will work. Dinner ADR at Chef Mickey's for 5:30, then we'll take the monorail back to MK to get back to CBR. Now that I'm looking at this, though, is two Character meals too much for one day?

10/6 (Thurs) DD6 turns 7! 5:15 ADR at CRT. Another day we are going against recommendations, b/c we had such a great time at AM EMH last time. We got to ride every ride in Fantasyland before the park even opened! And DD got to play with Daisy and Donald and a princess (to this day I don't know which one she was supposed to be, as her outfit didn't match any of them!) We plan on doing Tom Sawyer's island in the afternoon, especially if the crowds get heavy.

10/7 (Fri) MNSSHP! 4:45 ADR for Crystal Palace. Originally we were going to do this on 10/6, but def didn't think we'd be up for AM EMH and MNSSHP on the same day. Lazy morning, head to the park at 4 for the party.

10/8 (Sat) Leaving. Don't know when, b/c I can't book airfare since we don't know where we will be. We are trying to relocate, and it depends on when/where I get a job. Grrr.

TIA for any opinions/suggestions!

What do you mean they keep changing their flight times? I need to read up on that. We just booked with them. How soon before a trip might they change them?

I was just catching up with this thread and thought I should pop over to the AirTran site to check if my flight times had changed for our May DL trip. They have, but nothing drastic - we leave 5 min earlier and get to LAX 10 min earlier, and leave LAX 34 min earlier and get home 40 min earlier (or something similar to that). Leaving LAX earlier is definitely no big deal because our original flight time was 11:59 PM so we could have a full day at DL without paying for another night :thumbsup2!

Ok back to October DW planning...

I just booked my flight back "Home". I couldnt resist the $79.00 direct flight with Airtran going down any longer. You can now official change my vacation from October 21- 29 to October 20 - 29. I cant wait. Now time to change my ticker.

lemonsours.....the F! dining pkg wasn't showing dates online when I booked my ADRs either, but DH phoned and we were able to book that way.

I added your ADRs to the list on the top of pg. 30. They look great!! Let me know if I've made any mistakes!

I think it's a good idea not to add them until they've actually been made. I haven't posted mine yet because I'm sure they'll change either before I call to make them or at some point during the call when I realize something isn't available.

Ok back to October DW planning...

It didn't affect your seats or anything did it? That's what' I'm mostly worried about. We already chose our seats and there is no way I could let DD (diabetic) sit next to someone other than her father or me.

That's so exciting! You're going to love it and 7 is the PERFECT age to take your DD for the first time! Congrats!!!

Hi everyone! Joining in the thread, we will be going 10/21-10/28 and staying at the Grand. It will be me, my husband and our daughter who will be 5, plus my mom will be joining us part way in to our trip.
