Just booked some of our ADR's!! Will book the rest of them in the next few days!! This is SUPER exciting since we are FINALLY getting the dining plan (MH has refused until now), which means 3 Character Meals and dinner at the Coral Reef!! Our first day in the park we are lunching at the Crystal Palace celebrating our youngest's First Trip -- I can't wait!!

Going in next to last week of Oct.Wed-Sunday staying off-site in 5 bedroom ,5 bath!!! home with mickey shaped pool with DH, 3 DDs(23-29 yrs old) and best friends with 11 yr old son. With that many women you need that many bathrooms so you can get to the park on time. We haven't been as a family in many years. I am known for being a bit of a commando style planner so I've warned our bfs. We are getting that many nights for about $120/person. Can't beat it. We'll do IOA first day for HP freaks, MK the next day, and Universal on Sat. I will NEVER go to Orlando without seeing the castle, never ever, ever. I've told DH we will do a long trip with all the parks when he retires in a few years, just the 2 of us. We will have to keep it a secret from the princesses

Doing Riverside Oct 17- Oct 20. Going to make it a short 4 days, thinking of heading to Kennedy for a day and then the beach.

Kennedy is great outing have been many times, you can find discount tickets online prior, that are worth it and who would complain about going to the beach. Have a wonderful time.

Welcome back Imagineer. Hope you enjoyed the trip, and thanks for the updated list.

OK my fellow October vacationers, am I the only one of us NOT going to MNSSHP? Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of having my kids run around the park in costume and Trick-or-Treating with the characters. I just have difficulty justifying the cost of the hard ticket on top of all the other costs involved in the trip. Sure, the abbreviated hours @ MK are making my planning a bit harder; however we can plan to see Spectomagic & Wishes on other nights.

BTW, my countdown clock just reached 150 days to go. I can remember when that darn clock said 365 days and I was already excited!

I'm not planning on going either. I went last year and it was fun but I think I can skip it this year. Plus MK is open until 1 am the first night I get there so that's more than enough time for me. I'll just bring my own candy!

I'm so excited to be able to go to Disney for our Honeymoon!! We booked everything yesterday and I got all the dining reservations I wanted for the times that I wanted. woop woop

Can't wait! First trip! DH, myself and DD who will be 5.

We are coming in the day before and leaving the day after so we have 10 full days at the PARKS!!!! Woot!

We are doing the DxDP and got all the ADRs we wanted for when we wanted... including CRT for lunch!!! BBB in the morning (My little girl is a princess addict) .

Tickets purchased for MNSSHP and La Nouba. We are also there for my bday and have Cali Grill reserved for the night with DD going to have fun at the Neverland Club. Another night later in the trip we're going to do some couple time with F&W at Epcot and let her try the Sandcastle Club. I am also surprising my DH with the Richard Petty Driving experience. We are totally maxing out our experience! LOL! Something for everyone.

I am so thankful to this site that has really helped shape the dream... I would say it is my family's dream... but I'm the one obsessed with it... I think my DD would be, but she's too young. LOL. DH is more the type to become obsessed AFTER the experience. (I think that is in part because I am a great planner.... LOL) LOVE IT!!!!! He loves my secret shortcuts and savings and special extras I find pre-trips.

Already trying to see if we can squeeze a second trip with a few family friends going in April 2011... will have to approach that in November though... after DH is high on the experience! LOL Shhhhh.... don't tell my hubby! Not yet. Hee hee.

10 days!? I'm jealous! I think you definitely need a ticker, you're super excited. I'll be there for my bday too but at the beginning of the month. Can't wait!

Our travel dates have shifted slightly due to airfare being cheaper.

We are now going Oct. 14-19th. Still staying at POP and hoping for FD!
