Official October 2010 Thread!!- INCLUDE YOUR DATE/RESORT IN YOUR HEADER!!

Hello, everyone! We're going for our honeymoon in October and we are so stinkin' excited!!! :lovestruc

I don't think we're doing MNSSHP this time around (we did it the past two years), but I can't wait for Food & Wine!!! :cloud9:

This will be our youngest's first trip to Disney!! Her older brother and sister are looking forward to showing her around and introducing her to Mickey and friends!!
We're booked for Saratoga and my husband's parents will be joining us!

Can't wait!!! Did I mention I'm excited?

So excited!! Our first stay at AKV. Can't wait until the October hours come out so i can start to plan. :cool1:

Where do you find the hours for planning?

I believe the October hours will be out the beginning of April. You can find them on the WDW site and there is usually a link on the Theme parks boards for the hours in a sticky at the top of the page. Happy planning :goodvibes

We arrive on 10/8 at AKL Villas Savannah view, then head out for our Disney Wonder 4 night cruise and then back to AKL Villas Savannah view on the 14 and checking out on the 16th. It's our 10 year anniversary and we cannot wait! I can't believe we still have 6 1/2 months for this 9 day extravaganza!!!

Sounds like an amazing anniversary! I did something similar to this last year. 4 nights at WL, 3 night DCL, followed by 2 nights at BCV. It was a BLAST!

We are doing something similar, staying 5 nights at AKL Oct 12-17 then getting on a 7 night Caribbean cruise, too bad I am not staying on the return side. This is our 4th anniversary.

Happy Anniversary to you:yay:

I know I can't book dinning until 180 days but what about MNSSHP and BBB?????

If I remember correctly the party tickets are sold in May, I could be very wrong. We've done either MNSSHP or MVMCP 3-4 years in a row and I still dont remember when we purchased the tickets for sure.

We have never done the MNSSHP, how is it for two adults without kids? :confused3

We've done MNSSHP with and without kids and we had a blast both times!! We even did costumes without the kids and we were not the only adults there without children! We did focus a little less on collecting candy, but we still had an incredible time!

I think that the both of us would do costumes if we went just not sure what else there was to do if you were not getting candy for the kids?

Thanks for the insight:thumbsup2

I think we must have gone on every open ride two or three times...there is little to no wait during the party, and we found that most families were busy doing crafts and trick or treating. We were also able to grab great seats for the parade early!

Super excited to take my DD (she'll have just turned 3) in October! :yay: We just went in December and her and I are in love, DF - not so much. So he green-lighted me to take her for a solo trip!

Any ideas when the fall public discounts will be out? Free dining, room rates, book 3, get 2... any ideas or gossip out there?

My DH and I LOVE MNSSHP, they have one of the best parade's EVER! We also loved seeing the costumes people came up with. Even though we dont have kids, we still do the trick or treating and wait for pictures with the characters. If you are a halloween fan, you should definately go to this.

We really like Halloween and "trick or treating" (really giving out candy to the kids and adult libations in our neighborhood):littleangel:
