Flights from CA are ridiculous right now. More that $400 RT per person. I've never paid that much. I really hope they come down!!

Yeah . I'm going Thanksgiving week and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to find a redeye with a decent layover for less than $550. We just booked at a price we were willing to pay. Oh well!

Eeek! Haven't even looked yet. We fly Delta as its usually the cheapest since its a hub, and we have the card so our bags are free, which adds up with 4 of us.

I'm hoping once Southwest extends their booking dates things will stabilize, but I'm not banking on it at the moment.

So I was finally able to book my trip and boy was it nerve wracking!! Going during the W&D 1/2 combined with a 7 month booking window is dangerous!! My dates are 11/1-11/5 at OKW
11/5-11/6 the dark side
11/6-11/9 OKW

The last leg I HAD to book a 1 bedroom. Way too much space for us, but all the DVC studios were booked on Fri, 11/7. It was crazy luckily I had enough points, but still spending a few more than I wanted!! I think I feel a theme coming on for this trip!!

I'm hoping once Southwest extends their booking dates things will stabilize, but I'm not banking on it at the moment.

Flights have just been expensive this year. We were looking to fly into Barcelona during late summer (August) and couldn't find anything under $1500/rt from SFO. I've noticed LAX tends to have way better prices for some destinations, though!

Just bought our airfare yesterday, travel agent is booking the trip tomorrow! Going November 12-18th staying at Pop Century!! I can't wait!!!!!!!

So we switched from AKL to SSR. It was only 6 points more so it's worth it to us just for the bus access being a host resort. We are flying from So Cal and will not be renting a car.

We loved AKL last month but also want to see a new resort since likely we won't be returning for at least five or more years.

We also will be staying one night post cruise and haven't decided where we would like to try. Maybe Beach Club. I did wait list Boardwalk Villas for Nov 5-10 but am not anticipating it will come through though since I'm sure everyone else also has a wait list there.

Oh what fun it is to wake up at 5am CA time on a Saturday to change reservations!

Hubby and I are officially booked for our first ever trip to Disney! So excited...I don't know how I'm going to stand the 7 month wait!!

We're going November 9-15, staying at Kidani in AKL for the first five nights and then spending the last night at the Royal Pacific at Universal so we can do Harry Potter. Also hoping to do Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party while we're there!

We both turn 30 this year (DH actually while we're at Disney) and figured what better way to combat the "over-the-hill" blues than to go be kids again at the happiest place one earth?!

Just FYI - Anyone looking for Nov flights on Jetblue - they have just released their flights! All booked so now our trip feels real!

I booked our JB flights last night...and feel exactly the same! Once that air is in place...there's no turning back.

November 9-15 for my hubby and I. We'll be celebrating our 30th anniversary. Still deciding on where to stay, but leaning toward POFQ. Stayed at Dixie Landings about 20 years ago and at CBR before that, w/our boys when they were young. Very excited to return, just the two of us.

Do you think they'll have a sale with cheaper flights? They're $111 each way right now from DC, last year we paid $89 each way... Wondering if we should book today or be patient and wait for a sale

I booked yesterday from JFK and they were a very good price - I haven't seen them this low in years.

True! And this is our first W&D, so I may go with fewer ADRs this trip and plan to be in Epcot most evenings (we are staying at the YC so it's convenient).

I do want to do MVMCP. Anyone know when that schedule comes out? I'd like an early ADR at MK that night.

The tickets for MVMCP went on sale last year on May 1st! We did it two nights and LOVED it!

That's great!! That gives me time to plan before my ADR date! We did it back in 2009 on a last minute Thanksgiving trip. I bought the tickets when I got there and had no problems. Does it usually sell out fast these days?

We havent made our reservations yet....but will in the next month or so.
Plans are to go OCT 31-Nov 9.....Hoping we hit it just right so we can go to both MNSSHP AND MVMCP. We plan on the Halloween Party the night we get there, we went last year and it was a blast!!!

We changed our reservation from the Poly to Contemporary, and added a day, so now we're going Nov 1-9. Waiting not so patiently for the november schedule to be released, so we can "know" when the last MNSSHP will be and when the first MVMCP will be, because we're hoping to hit both. I have a general plan for our week, but it's based off of last year's calendar.

But we upgraded to a Lagoon View, since we bought APs in January, and we won't have to worry about construction or closed pools (hopefully). Still wish it was going to be the Poly, but I guess that'll just wait for another year.

November hours should be coming out within the next couple weeks, right? I see EasyWDW has dates/recommendations up through October.
