They sent me 24 tags. When I called the CM said he would send me extra because I told him my mother in law was thinking about coming but wasn't sure yet (at that time). He said it was no problem and that he would send an extra set.

That's a lot of luggage tags! How long are you staying to need that amount of luggage?

Boo it won't let me check in online. It says "Sorry we are unable to complete your online checkin at this time. Please try again later." Has anyone else had this issue trying to checkin today.

I just did online check in from here mydisneyreservation.com
which was posted a few posts back.

It had some things that were not real clear and I ran into a couple snags but I got a confirmation email saying I'm checked in via online check in, so I guess I'm in.

Now to get through the next 59 days with no problems.

How many do they send if you don't request extras? We're flying Southwest, so we each get to check 2 bags. Will I only get six tags, since we a family of 6? Never really thought about it.

I think when I went in 2010 they sent me 4 and there was 2 of us traveling.

I've always on rec'd 2 one each for Bob and myself but since wefly Jet Blue that s all we need as we don't check any over the 1 free allowed pp

I rec'd our new tags that Called about on 9/9 after we changed resorts today in the mail.

We were at 56 days, we are in Canada and got them about 2 weeks after I set up our ME online.

You'll get 12 (2 per person).

Ok, so originally there was the 6 of us, and then my sister and mother in law decided to come. When I called DME back in July I said that my res was for 6 but we were possibly adding 2 more. So I think he sent me 24 tags because he figured he'd send my one whole extra set? Originally we would have gotten 12 tags per the 6 of us but he sent extra for my sister and mil, maybe he was just over zealous? Lol.

Yes, yes they are!!!! My one wants to come on the trip, BUT not go to any parks because "she doesn't like amusement parks".

We have flown SW each time & have only ever received 3 tags, there are only 3 of us. If you need more you can call and request them.
