Anybody know of any Epcot area restaurants open at 6 in the morning? My flight lands at 5 now ...

I'm thinking you already know that none of the restaurants in Epcot will be open at 6am, especially since you can't even get in the park at that hour. I'd say that any Table Service at YC/BC or Boardwalk would also be closed but you might find the quick service open. And perhaps Boardwalk Bakery.

Arghhhhh! I am so frustrated with airfare. The flight I have been stalking on Southwest to see if the fare drops just completely disappeared today! It was at exactly the right departure time I wanted and at worst I was expecting to see the price go up today, but I wasn't expecting the flight to disappear. I don't know what we are going to do now. But cancelling our trip is not an option!

86 more days!!!!! Going shopping with my friend this afternoon so she can get some more non-work clothes to bring to Disney while they still have something in the stores. Love Disney prep shopping.

Anyone have any fun countdown calendar ideas?

Last year I just did a calendar page and we used Disney stickers to countdown the last 30 days, but this year we thought we'd start earlier and I wanted a new fun idea.

I can't remember, were you leaving out of Newark, or Philly? I don't think any flights have really dropped going out of Philly, so I'm hoping that will happen soon. Frontier also has some decent fares out of Wilmington DE too, but just didn't work for our days. Newark is a little far for us too, 1.5hrs or more with traffic. And there's always traffic.

Trenton's airfare has been over $500, and finally dropped down to $478 for one of the flights out today. Yeah, not happening! Still hoping though. I wish that was my Friday that was $99! Newark is 2 hours for us, so that is definitely NOT preferred. Wilmington has cheaper rates, but we would have to either add or subtract a day. I'm not even bringing up that option as DH will want to knock off a day!
Philly would be next best, and I am hoping they will just be later dropping airfare. Here's hoping we both get good rates...if I see any dropping, I'll pm you!

Nooooo but if you figure it out let me know! BTW congrats on the upcoming 25th anniversary! Wow 25 years, what is that like? We are at 11 this year and can at times knit pick eachother to death!! In a loving way of course....right??

It takes a lot of practice and patience to not be at each other's throat. (We just had a couple yesterday and today that we both had to stop and breathe) I think for us we took our vows very serious and added the spiritual component to the marriage which made it hard to not work hard. For me too I took a good hard look at myself and said "could I be married to me? Maybe I can over look some of his "stuff" since he over looks mine."

When the kids were little there was a lot of work going on with them, so that makes it much harder too.

Thanks for congratulating us. I wish for you what it takes for your relationship to some day be planning a special Disney trip for just the two of you so you can celebrate the bigger numbers and get to do the adult Disney stuff too.

I soooooo can't wait. We really need some down time just us.

I guess I'm the only one that wants my ticker to slow down!
I lost 6 weeks when I had to move up my dates to get free dining and now I feel like time is going too fast. I know we will not be going back anytime soon after this trip, so I want enjoy all the Disney planning time I can get!

I know how you feel.....we have so much going on between now and our trip: kids going to back to school, Baltimore ComicCon, NYC ComicCon, wrestling sign-ups (I'm on the board), etc. I mean, our plans are already in place, but it still feels overwhelming sometimes.

And, what, are you like me? unable to sleep and stalking the DIS so early in the morning? I'm just about ready to leave for work cause I'm so bored.....

Well, I am unable to sleep because 2 of my 3 kids woke up, one at 4:00, the other at 5: 00. In the process of getting them back to sleep, I ended up not being able to go to sleep thinking about what we needed to bring with us for our day trip to Dutch Wonderland today.
I figured I may as well check in here since I was awake! Hopefully, the one of us that is rested can have a good time because I suspect the rest of us might get cranky! I know I'm feeling it.

Well, I am unable to sleep because 2 of my 3 kids woke up, one at 4:00, the other at 5: 00. In the process of getting them back to sleep, I ended up not being able to go to sleep thinking about what we needed to bring with us for our day trip to Dutch Wonderland today.
I figured I may as well check in here since I was awake! Hopefully, the one of us that is rested can have a good time because I suspect the rest of us might get cranky! I know I'm feeling it.

We are only an hour and a half from Dutch Wonderland and went once before. I liked it a lot, it's smaller and there were no crowds for the rides we were able to stay on a lot of them multiple times. It isn't for older kids though as there is only one coaster. I hear it is really nice for Halloween, they have some kind of deal with Hershey. I think next year we may do Hershey Park for Christmas actually.

Thanks for the info.! We will have to check it out! Hershey is Great!!! Especially at Christmas!! We went twice, the two years we didn't go to Disney. Love how everything is decorated and they do a Christmas light show with a similar feel to Osborne lights, where the tree lights dance to music. They have a "drive through" Christmas light display , which is pretty cool. You get 3D glasses, which make the lights look like they have a rainbow glow around them. They have one indoor 'ride' in Chocolate World, which pretty much just explains the chocolate making process, but my DD loved it! We had to keep going on it over and over again. The cool thing is they give you a piece of Chocolate when you get off! It's fun, it's not Disney, but a good alternative. Do you live near Maple Grove Raceway?

As anxious as I am for the trip, we have been on so many that I know that the anticipation and planning is a big part of the fun and I don't want it to go any faster. I know it sounds strange but when the trip is actually going on it's a little anticlimactic, like Christmas morning. Weird, huh?

Unfortunately like FigmentChick the fall schedule is already picking up and time is flying. We already started with soccer practically every night...Ugh.

CaraMiaBelle, so sorry your kids got up early but at least you are relatively close to home. Just pump them up with pepsi and sugar and they will have no problem going all day. Then they will crash on the way home. Just call me mom of the year!
