***Official November 2013***

Did you enjoy Dutch Wonderland? How were the rides? Hope you had a good time!

Maple Grove Raceway is in Mohnton, PA. Its a drag racing track.

We had a lot of fun! It was a little more crowded this time than last as there were a few camps there...I should have known, being the last Friday before school starts around here. It drizzled a while and rides were closed but we just went to the water play area since we were wet anyway. We could have gotten "rain check" tickets but since the kids were having fun shooting each other with water and going on the water slides anyway, I just didn't feel right doing it.
My boys would love going to a drag racing track! We are about an hour away, so totally worth it...I'll have to check that out!

Overall, an awesome day, especially when I came home and found the awesome airfare prices. SO, WE ARE OFFICIALLY BOOKED!

If anyone is leaving out of Philly, the second week of November, check out airfare now!

:banana::jumping1::banana:

Oh, and I also snagged a Chef Mickey ADR from a fellow DISer. It is not my "preferred" day but I'm going to work it into my plans somehow! Definitely my lucky day!

Wow what a great day for you! Congrats! I feel so relieved that we finally got our airfare; you must feel that a giant weight has been lifted off your shoulders. And you got CM! It's a lot of fun.

Sounds like you still had a fun day despite the weather! Seems like a fun place! Were the rides suitable for small kids? We have to try it out one day. We are going to try Knobels in October. It's in Elysburg. My DH's co-worker said they have so much for small kids to do. I think the kids would enjoy it!

Yes, going to the track is a lot of fun! My husband, father, FIL and BIL all drag race! I know about Dutch Wonderland and Knobels because we pass them on he way to races!! lol

Chef Mickeys is so much fun for the kids! Enjoy!

90 more days got shirts bought to make all of our family t shirts for Wdw and our cruise in the middle. Got my transfer sheets. Gotta get my magnets designed for 3 cabins and buy the magnet sheets. Amazon seems to have a box of 50 for $68 which will leave me lots of extras for hubby and I for feb too. All adrs are made except I may try for the fireworks dessert party. My family has been numerous times to Wdw but its my niece and nephews first time so I can't wait. I plan to spoil then. Even my kids who are disney vets and are 13 and 17 by then are teasing me about how much of a pushover ill be.

Sounds like everybody is having their vacation plans and expenses fall into place. :cool1:

Reading about how some are bringing extended family. I've also read elsewhere of some going for a family reunion. How fun!!!
Disney is such a magical place.

My son leaves for his second year of college tomorrow. Kind of makes the 84 days left to WDW not so important. I'm sure by Monday or Tuesday I'll be back to Banana dancing.

Still trying to find decent airfare out of NJ/NYC area! It is so high! I usually pay in the $200s and I can't find under $400!

Can you fly from JFK in NY? Jet Blue has some flights under $200 to around 220. I saw one flight for $158 Good Luck

I checked Nov 3rd based on your ticker. Is that close?

i dont know if Philly works but did you check US Air today? Funny, for my dates, I could only find lower fares out of Newark!

I have a friend that camps by Knobels and always raves about it. Maybe we will try that next summer.
ALL the rides were for little kids at Dutch Wonderland, even the water slides. They even have characters, a princess, prince and dragon, and a really good generic "Princess and the frog" diving show. At age 10, I'd say they might get bored though, definitely for younger ones.

71 Days to go and we rec'd our ME packet today!

Last Tuesday JB ran $80 special from HPN now it is back up to $144 but will probably drop again Tuesday. I never check JFK since I prefer the smaller airports

Good Luck!

Happy Saturday Everyone :flower3:

Well we changed resorts again sorry FigmentChick

We are now booked at POFQ from 11/13-11/25. This is our favorite mod and I'll be happier not having to pack up midway and change resorts. Wish they offered free dining at FQ but we were able to take advantage of the room only discount.

Glad to hear the prices for airfare are coming down. We are flying down out of PHL but coming home by way of BWI due to cheaper airfare.

We're doing a split stay at pofq 11/10 then moving to POR on the 11th to start are pkg with fd. First time staying at both resort's. Not thrilled about the split but this is alot easier on my mother since she needs a scooter and she can just drive over to POR the next morning. Does everyone have all there adrs set?

I am still trying to tweek my ADRs after switching resorts on 8/1. We were booked at Poly so most of our ADRs were centered around the monorail resorts and now we are at an Epcot resort.

Also waiting to book the Dessert party for Wishes.

Thinking about whether I want to book Cali Grill Monday when it opens, most likely will then cancel if I change my mind later.

Are you all set with your ADRs?

I have artists point but hoping to switch it to the Cali grill on Monday, like everyone and their brother. :) we also have Ohana on our resort day, if my husband gets a new job we would add another if possible but for now it's all cs for us :)
