Not sure whats up with my ticker... Stuck on 90!

Feels like Ground Hog's Day... Our vacation to never come any closer!!!

In truth, we're 83 days out! Glad to see a ticker can't stop time...

I'll be there November 11 - 18 at Animal Kingdom Lodge! Just DH and I for the first time in a couple of years. Our first time at AKL!

How do I go about getting into this Facebook group?

I'll add you to the first post. I'm jealous of anyone staying at AKL....I think it's such a beautiful resort.

As for the FB group, you can do a search for 2013 November Disney Trip and it should come up. You have to request permission as it is a closed group and I'll approve you as soon as I can.



Totally off topic, but I saw these really cute shoes and wanted to ask if anyone else has experience with them. I saw a pair of Jessica Simpson shoes and want to know if they are comfortable. I've had surgery on both of my feet and I sit all day, so that's not a problem. But I just want to know how their feel is. I guess if all else fails, I can go to Macy's and try a pair of Jessica Simpson shoes on (the ones I saw were on Piperlime).

I will admit once I got in the double digits it doesn't feel like its dragging as much. But at 93 days I can't wait for the 89 to show up.

Now I would have thought the summer to go by faster as people are busy in the summer. But I guess when you are back into the school year routine things will be different as you won't have the kids with you.

Friend of mine leaves tomorrow with his family. As much as I'm wishing it was me, I personally am happy with my November dates because the weather will be much more comfortable for the things I want to do.
And I just realized today that by November it's getting dark shortly around 5 - 6 pm. That made me happy as I wanted to enjoy the night time stuff at Disney. I guess that is why it makes more sense they parks close around 9pm in November. I was thinking that early closing we wouldn't get a lot of the night life in the parks. So happy to realize this is not true.

Although that means being outside in the dark from 5pm to midnight on MVMCP night, I don't think I'll make it to midnight.

I'm anxious to see if my ticker will be stuck tomorrow.

For me, August is going by fast because I have a wedding I'm in at the end of the month and... Well lets just say time goes faster when you're dreading something, right? Hahahaha June went fast, July flew by, but August is absolutely blowing by me. Oh well, when I'm finished with this wedding, everything on my horizon will be something I'm excited for! (I only hope time doesn't slow down then!)

Well I'm a teacher so summers are quiet! And back to school means back to school for me as well as the kids! Lol!

I think the next couple of months could fly by for me.

I've got several things coming up. Two things in October (annual get-together with some local Disney fans in Salem, MA and then the walk for Diabetes). Those always sneak up on me, especially the walk because every year I think I want to run the course and I never seem to have enough time to get myself into shape to run it.

We've also got a little getaway in September which I actually need to figure out where we are going, but now hubby's work schedule could be up in the air so we might have to change the dates.

No kids or school to worry about though. But November will still be here before I know it.

Then I get to really start thinking about the cruise next year. That might cause some panic since it's our first ever and we're doing the Alaskan so packing is going to give me nightmares.

Yes, I think November will come up really fast now. I actually was kind of disappointed when I had to change my dates to 3 weeks earlier to get the free dining time...less time to look forward to the trip and have fun planning!
I would love to do an Alaskan cruise too, you're right though, I can't even imagine packing for myself, let alone trying to plan for 3 kids as well! Maybe when they are older and they can pack themselves!

It's official! Airfare has been booked! We'll be there 11/23 to 11/30 and staying at AOA. Soooo excited!
