I Got my official invite In today's snail mail. But Yesterday was my last day to customize the band

So, my last day to customize is 10/12. I imagine my invite will arrive on Monday the 14th!

Okay. I went online and customized all of my family. Luckily I did it now because when I went on it said I had 4 days left to customize.

So now how long til they arrive- anyone know?

You should have them in a week. Have to wait the 4 days incase you change your mind about the colors, then they take 2/3 days to arrive after shipping.

It is crazy...I can't even imagine how much money Disney has wasted on sending these invites out! And it has been happening for weeks now. Haven't they figured it out yet?

I only have until the 16th to customize my MB's...I've pretty much given up on purple appearing also.

I still check every morning to see if purple is there. Feels like there is a "spot" for it on the second row. I am running out of time too, it says six days left. Although the email I got from my TA said customization has to occur 14 days prior to arrival. So even after my customization period is done online, and maybe even after I get them, I will still check. IF it would become a choice, I would call and beg for one!

I received mine two days after personalization closed. One day to create the MBs, then overnight shipping.

Hi guys!! Not sure if this has been answered here already..... So bare with me.... Magic bands? Who here has customized theirs without getting an invitation email? I called last week and a CM told me I could NOT customize(even though it was letting me) until I got an email inviting me to do so..... TIA Oh and my family will be there nov 12.

We are arriving on the 12th too we are staying at OKW

So you'll let us all know if purple becomes available then I guess! I never noticed a spot on the second row...ill have to look at that!
Mine says 6 days too...I didn't even ask my TA, I just told her, yay!, they're available. She didn't say anything one way or the other. I guess she understands Disney enough not to question!

Wow. The CM said if I did it without the invite then it would ruin my chances of getting them! She actually read an email to me that she recieved saying to tell anyone questioning it- not to customize unless they recieved an email invite.

So confused.

I should just do it cuz it was gonna let me and then I stopped and called just to make sure.

I get the CM telling you not to customize until you get the invite if that is what the email told her, it's not like she is going to Disney and checking the MDE page everyday and living on DISboards like us nuts. She probably still believes that Disney knows what it is doing. However, to tell you that you will ruin your chance to get the MBs if you customize before you get the invite makes no sense. It's not like Disney is picking and choosing who is getting invited, they activated it for certain resorts on certain dates and everyone in that resort got them. I hate when people lie like that, especially when they are just doing it to control you.

I don't even know what colors they are offering for the refillable mugs, I remember seeing a fluorescent green one I think. I hate pink, always have - probably because my mother was always buying me pink things and dolls - I wanted green things and stuffed animals and army men. After everyone chose their bands I had pink or yellow left to choose from. I decided to have a duplicate and went with blue, I prefer darker greens than the one they offer.

Happy almost b-day to you! Nice place to celebrate it. I will NEVER celebrate my b-day at Disney :-( It's July 13th, I'd melt.

Not coincidental!! I had this experience about a week ago (though I think I spent only about an hour on the phone). They had me choose different character icons for the different accounts and capitalized my name on one that was the right one. Eventually I got my stuff back but they had to delete the account on which I got the BoG FP+ so now I don't know for sure if I have it or not. I am instructed to check at the hotel at check-in or at the park that day. But I really wish I knew since it is the 13th birthday of a member of my party and that is where she wanted to have lunch. Need to know if we must go there right when it opens or if we can use the FP+. But it was awful to lose all the MDE stuff if only temporarily.

They told me to do the same thing. And the CM told me that from now on if/when I call to make reservations for anything to make sure I tell whoever I talk to to use the correct account and not the wrong one because they can't delete it. I'm scared to even go on MDE now.
