Would you say to order one or two sizes larger than normal? I don't like fitted or too loosey goosey.

I'm usually a small on top but at the Disney Store I prefer a medium. I think part of it is a lot of them are stiff and not super stretchy so I feel like they bind up more.

Hi all

Family of four heading to Disney on the 18th of November. My wife two daughters (3.5 and 8 months) are heading there along with my mother. My mom has been to disney in 31 years.

We are all really psyched. Most likely doing Epcot the night of the 18th, Magic Kingdom on the 19th, and Hollywood Studios on the 20th.

My 3.5 year old is super into Cinderella, Mareda, Rapunzel, and Toy Story. Any one have any tips or tricks for making sure we see those characters?

Any and all advice would be appreciated. Fairly certain we are bringing our own double stroller... but aside from that, open to any ideas!

Um, I believe that is EVERYONE! Don't listen to the CMs if you have the option to Personalize MBs.

Gotta go with what a PP said - check out the kennythepirate.com website for tips and tricks and scheduling ideas to meet the characters. Followed his plans this summer and over the course of 4 days met 56 total characters in all 4 parks. And had time to do everything else that I wanted to as well.

I will say that Merida was the 2nd longest wait outside Tinkerbell. I'd recommend going straight to her meet area in MK when the rope drops.

Following KtP's plans, most of my waits were 5 min or less.

Have fun, and don't stress too much about it.

We are going Nov. 16-22nd and I customized our MB 2 weeks ago. I did not receive an email inviting me. I just checked my MDE app and saw that MB were on there.

Wait for an invite?

I customized my friend's bands about a week and a half ago, she got hers yesterday - she still hasn't got an invite.

I have 5 days left to customize, they've been done for a few weeks - no invite in sight.

Wow. The CM said if I did it without the invite then it would ruin my chances of getting them! She actually read an email to me that she recieved saying to tell anyone questioning it- not to customize unless they recieved an email invite.



So confused.

I should just do it cuz it was gonna let me and then I stopped and called just to make sure.

I'm going to CSR on Nov 16-23 and mine are done! At least it shows it when I click on the button telling me to customize and my colors and names are there.

And mine says the deadline to customize is the 17th, so if you haven't done yours yet......hmmmm you will be cutting it close.

We are staying offsite this trip because it was so last minute .. and had to be cheap, cheap , cheap !

We'll be there November 9th -15th.

Did you document her name so that when you don't do it and then can't customize because it's too late you can complain like crazy?

Seriously, I personalized my MB the first day the option was available on MDE. I now have my MBs in hand. I recived the email invite TWO DAYS after I received my MBs, and THREE days after MDE closed the Personalize option. The USPS invite came a day after the email. I have not heard of anyone not receiving their MBs after personalizing them. And I don't think you need to worry since there was a press release, last week I think, stating all Disney on-site resorts will be testing MBs in November. No purple though.

We leave in 11 days and I never got an official Invite to do the magic bands. The only reason I even knew the log in to MDE and try is because my husband reads forum boards (i dont think it was one of these) and someone said if you go to MDE and it lets you customize the bands then you can do it. When I logged in it said the deadline to customize them was in 4 days. I mentioned it to a CM when I called about something else. She didn't seem to think there would be an issue. I hope we don't run into any problems. I had my mom and dad and my brother and his wife all customer theirs. I was even given the option to customize one for my DD who is 11 mo. We got them in the mail and I have been able to link everything, including MNSSH tickets and reserve fast passes. I'll report back after the trip.

It is crazy...I can't even imagine how much money Disney has wasted on sending these invites out! And it has been happening for weeks now. Haven't they figured it out yet?

Really? That is so strange. You know what, if no one is supposed to do it, then they shouldn't even have it on MDE! Silly Disney!

I didn't get an invite but when I clicked on "Personalize Magic Bands" the window popped up for me to do it. It's not like we had to hack into the system or anything. LOL. Again, silly Disney!
