Question for the day:

What is your favorite dessert at WDW?

Weve never been, but Im really looking forward to the tie dye cheesecake at POP! My husband think I'm crazy for wanting to make a special trip over there just for cheesecake!

LOL Thanks! I'm very lucky my 2 kids love road trips and as long as there is music they like they are great in the car, they get excited at eating on the road and staying in hotels etc...it's alot of driving for 1 person but I'm a chicken when it comes to flying!:scared1:

Decided to do a split stay and surprising DD for her birthday.

So now well be at POFQ from 11/18-11/25 then we are moving to
CR for 11/25 -11/28 :cloud9:

So excited can't wait to see her face and a magical way to end our trip. The location is perfect for our plans. We have HDDR and Tomorrowland Dessert party on the 11/25 and MVMCP on 11/27.

The ferry to FW for HDDR and being able to walk home after 2 late nights at MK will be great :cool1:

My favorite dessert is the icecream sandwich at the Main Street Bakery! You can choose what type of cookies you want and they add huge scoops of vanilla icecream!! If we are full from eating elsewhere we will split it between us, it's huge!! This one was made with 1 chocolate chip cookie and 1 sugar cookie.

The bread pudding at O'Hana

Yum!

Ooooooh, I have never noticed that on the menu at POP. I will have to try it!

My DH changed it :cool1: And I'm a funnel cake girl. I like the one at Liberty Square

Way to go DH! Is the funnel cake at Liberty Square different than the one at Epcot? I've only ever had the one at Epcot.

I love the tie dye cheesecake! The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the bottom, almost every time, the bottom has been very dry and I ate out around it. I think it's red velvet cake? I hope you get a super moist slice!

We have family up north, visit them every summer. We decided this year was the last year for driving. Our youngest ds has health problems and could only handle about 6 hours a day. It took us forever to get there! We use to do the trip in 1 day. It was taxing, but it was great only spending one day driving. You are very fortunate to have kids who enjoy car rides. Do you watch for certain land marks?

That will be very convenient to walk from MK to CR!!! You'll all have full bellies on the 25th, lol!!

When is the moment you realize, I am at Walt Disney World!!!

We always drive to the World and when we go under the big arch with Mickey that says Walt Disney World, the whole family gets excited! :goodvibes. I love walking into MK Main Street as well! :lovestruc

A little late on yesterday's question, but my fave snack is the funnel cake in Liberty Square. YUM! I've never found one anywhere else that's as good! My kids love the frozen lemonade (slurpie style) that was found in Toon Town... Hope it's been relocated so they can have it in Nov!! :confused3 :woohoo:

We have an ADR for the 4:00 HDDR and will skip the strawberry shortcake. Looking forward to a chocolate covered strawberry ;)
Good thing we're walking home :rotfl:

Favorite dessert is :mickeybar and DD loves the huge chocolate chip cookies.

When is the moment you realize, I am at Walt Disney World!!!

Leaving the airport on ME and driving under the Walt Disney World sign then checking into the resort and getting our welcome packet. We just can't stop smiling or figuring out what to do first...pool or park decisions decisions :rotfl:

So glad to find the November 2011 thread. We just decided to go. We will have two days of F&WF (on Sat. and Sun, November 12-13), the last two days. Never been and very excited. Then the rest of the time we will enjoy the parks. We are doing DxDP and DBF has never been to WDW. We are both really looking forward to it. The kids aren't going and they took it pretty hard. I have been with them 3 times, all in the summer. I am hoping for cooler weather and smaller crowds. Hope it is not wishful thinking. Whoo hoo for us November 2011 trippers.:goodvibes:cool1::thumbsup2

:welcome: You are added!

When is the moment you realize, I am at Walt Disney World!!!

Driving under the big WDW arched sign, while watching a welcome video on the ME bus. Then finally walking up Main St. and seeing the castle.:cloud9: They are such iconic moments.

I'll be down November 8th - 14th staying at the Grand Floridian and attending the Christmas party on Sunday the 13th. Can't wait!!! :yay:
