We are going on a cruise (not Disney ) in June and we leave out of Port Canaveral... I am trying to get down there early and at least see the mouse for 2 days!!

My son's birthday is the Friday before we leave for the cruise, so I was thinking.. hey.. he's at least free!!!!

I have already been thinking about ADR's CP and MVMCP...Waiting for DD school calendar so I can see what days I plan too pull her out!!

Probably staying at AKL or French Quarter!! My dream is the Poly and who knows if I get the 40% off...I may just go for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have decided on 11/23-12/1/2010!!! Now, that I have picked dates...need to decide on a resort. Choices are: 1. Wilderness Lodge...beautiful at Christmas but, transportation isn't great. 2. POR - beautiful, can't beat the price...but, again transportation - awful. 3. Grand Floridian - beautiful, stayed there last year and are truly spoiled, amazing transportation but, price is ~$1500 more than POR...not sure that no matter how spoiled we were that I can justify it. Then, to really throw a wrench into the decision making...I am considering renting DVC points to upgrade to a villa and have never done that so, that in itself is daunting to think about but, could really pay off. Looking so forward to making new plans...and hearing about everyone else's.

I had a hard time picking the resort too.. going into the trip I was 100% wilderness lodge.. we walked through it in 2006 and loved it! plus my son was so gun-ho on the bunk beds.. but I have also always wanted to stay at the poly and be on the monorail.. so after being in here.. seeing all the pictures of both resorts, I went with my gut and choose Poly.. I have no regrets and I can't wait to go!!!

Our dates are the 5th-13th. I am hoping my son will have the whole week of the 9-12 off.. last year he did, this year he only has Monday and Tuesday off for teachers conferences. (of the 1st week in November),
so if anything, we will only be pulling him out for 3 days..

Just booked our trip!!! We are officially staying at WL, 11/23-12/1/2010!!! I paid full price because there was no PIN or code with my name but, will be scouring the internet and everywhere else I can think for anything that will reduce my price! So excited!!!!!!!!
I am newly a single mom...and this will be a huge feat to pull off..."singly" and financially! But, it's one year from tomorrow...plenty of time to prepare!!! Let the official countdown begin!!!
