I was able to book breakfast on our last day, but really do not want to do that, so maybe it will open up later today. Our AK day was Wednesday, we have lunch at Tusker already scheduled and we have 8pm at CRT so that knocks out that possibility, cancelling CRT not an option...hoping for an early dinner on last day and then seeing show.

UPDATE There were lots of availability first week in August if anyone is looking, I got a 5:30 at Tusker House and 1st Show of Jungle Book, none of these were available at noon today.

Where (ie how) did you get an anytime FP?! (Just curious)

I gave up EE on 1 day and Kali on another as the dining pkgs are too rich for my budget....and booked 2 days in case we get rained out of the first one....

I emailed the WDW exec office about the scheduling problems I was having and I was given an anytime FP for each person in our party for every day of our trip. I think this is the stop gap for any and all issues at Disney.

I have checked all day and not once did I see anything open up for 6/6 either for any meal. Oh well.

Yeh I'm going to keep trying but I'm not very hopeful.

I just booked a 5:45pm Tusker House package. Seating is for the 1st show.

I just did the same as you, 5:45 at TH for the first showing! August 31st.

How are they going to fit everyone in the dining package area seating for the first show?

The Frozen ride won't be open that week. It opens June 21st.

Well after giving up this morning, I went in now and got a dinner time at TH on the day I wanted! It's a half hour earlier than I wanted, but not bad.

Probably a dumb question, but there are characters at dinner, right? We've only ever done breakfast or lunch there before, so I'm not certain.

We have dinner reservations at Tusker House. Yes, it is my understanding they will have the Safari Donald crew. I think it's Donald, Daisy, and Goofy in safari gear.

I just got off a chat with a CM who verified that my dining plan will be accepted for this lunch/show package.

So happy that I am FINALLY done planning this vacation and can relax in the next two weeks before my trip! All I've left to do is hope for a soft opening of FEA!

We are in the same boat. With today's releases, I finally got all our advanced planning done, and I'm hoping for soft openings for FEA on our days at Epcot. We leave three days before official opening.

We got soarin', but not FEA. I thought It'd be the other way around a while back.

I didn't use the link that someone posted last night, I just used the regular Disney Dining page, refreshed every 15 mins or so from 6am till I saw a 6pm res open around 2:30 and grabbed it. There was a 5:45 res for the same day (June 4) the last time I checked.

I have been doing the same thing for 6/6 off and on since 5:55 this morning and not once has it popped up for any times on this one day lol. I'm beginning to think this day was already booked solid and there were no packages to be had

I was able to switch our late breakfast in August to a Jungle Book priority seating for the first show. This worked well for us because we were planning to eat at TH at that time any how. We will come back to AK in the evening for the show.

Is the Jungle Book FP essential for the initial 3 FPs if you want to see the show? I don't like being limited to 3 for the whole day which is what this would entail

My guess would be probably especially since it is new. We won't really know until the show gets started and we get reports from people.

I noticed on the website that it says dining plans accepted for the TH Jungle Book packages, but then in my confirmation via email it says this restaurant does not participate in the Disney dining plan. Can anyone clarify? When I got the 5:45pm reso for the Jungle Book package, I cancelled my previous regular reservation that was at 6pm. That one definitely was covered with 1 TS credit. Thanks!
