**Official MVMCP, 2010!** Guest list, tips and info.

Ok so excited bought tickets for 12/19:cool1:..this is our first time going to the MVMCP. I have a couple of questions though, do you have to be their right at 7:00 when it starts..because if so I think I need to change our DR's that night..we have them at 5:00 in Hollywood studios..do you think we can eat and get out of one park and into another by 7..we will have rental car so not much dependancy on disney transportation.

Thanks for the info..I have been stressing about that one DR for a while.

Sounds like a good plan to me. :thumbsup2 Are you going to wait until the last minute to get the tickets? I can't decide when to buy ours. :confused3

I am going to wait until right before we leave, look at the weather for our week and then decide between the 2nd or the 5th, but planning on the 5th. Good luck on your decision.

You can actually get into MK with your party ticket @ 4 p.m. So I wouldn't really recommend having a 5 p.m. ADR in another location, espcially another park.

Hi everyone. This will be our first Disney Christmas. I want to buy tickets for the MVMCP but I don't know how early I should buy them. I know that they are non-refundable and I don't want to be stuck with them, if for some odd reason, we end up not going. So my question is, how early can I buy them without them actually selling out? Thanks.

I'm sure you could come in as late as you want, but I'd hate to miss any of the party if it was me - especially since it's so expensive. Any chance it'd work to move your dinner earlier. :confused3

Having never been myself, I can't really answer - sorry. But, I think it depends on when you are going. The dates closer to Christmas are probably the ones most likely to sell out, but that is just my guess. :confused3

Do you have a date you are considering? If so, I can add you to the list. :santa:

December 2nd!!

This will be not only our first MVMCP, but our first Disney vacation at Christmas time!

We are going to start the day with a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's and make a long wonderful day of it. (It's just me and my 24 yo DD this time!) I cannot wait!

I think it would be tight, especially if you were eating at a place like Brown Derby or something. Perhaps if it was a buffet youcould make it, but that's if you get seated right at 5, and in my experience, you often get seated 10-15 minutes later than your scheduled ADR. I would reccomend rescheduling for earlier or for something in MK instead.

We just got tickets for my niece's birthday, 12/16. My dd and I went last year in the first week of Dec, but it rained so hard the days we were there that we really didn't get to enjoy all the holiday stuff. This year we're going back with my brother's family to celebrate her birthday :)

:cheer2: Yay! Now we have more than 1 DISer going that night. :santa:

Ours, too. I'm so excited I'm already humming Christmas Carols. :santa:

We'll be attending on November 30th. This will be our first Christmas at WDW and my DD 14mos. first trip. We're very excited after seeing so many specials on TV about how much they do for Christmas.

We have tickets for Dec. 19 - our first time at MK during Christmas! :santa:
We have an ADR for CP at 5:10, but I have a 'Plan B' ADR at T-Rex about the same time just in case the rumor is true that the MVMCP ticket won't get you in at 4:00PM this year. I'll cancel one just as soon as I am reasonably sure one way or the other how Disney plans on handling MVMCP. Would much rather have dinner with Pooh, but since we are actually staying at Universal and just popping over for a touch of WDW Holiday Magic:wizard:, I am not about to spend money on single day tickets to go in a couple of hours early for dinner. :rolleyes1

I wonder why there are not any discounted tickets 12/10 or 12/12? Are these expected to be busy days :scared1::scared1:. I mean, there are other discounted dates after that so it is not a hard cut off point.

I just can't decide what day to go!

I love all the TV specials, too. :cloud9:

Sounds like a great plan! :thumbsup2 From what I'm reading on other threads, it looks like your chance of getting in at 4 is pretty good. :goodvibes
