Shouldn't be too long! I understand that you can book end of April or early May. Mostly, I just wanted to say :welcome: to the Dis boards. Only "bad" thing about the boards is that they are very addicting! Have fun planning!

Nothing you can find online now is "official" until the times are released from Disney. There are probably some really accurate guesstimates, but nothing "official." Hopefully it will be soon though!!

I was wondering when do people start coming to the park in costumes. If I get to the MK around 3-4 in my costume, will I stand out? I am trying to decide if I should get to the MK right on time for 5:05PM LTT ADR or come a bit early and catch a few rides before the ADR. I don't really want to change at the park.

we went in at 4 in costume and we were not alone

We have tentative plans for Oct 1 for MNSSHP with and ADR at LTT planned for 5:30. If there is no party that night we will probably try for the Oct 4 party.

Just beginning to think about what to wear. It is only the 2 of us and neither of us are big on costumes. We lean towards a t-shirt and some type of hat - maybe Mickey Ears.

We are both really excited about this trip. It is our first time during that part of the year. We usually go in May or June or during Christmas.

Hi-

Does this event siphon a fair amount of park goers? I was thinking of doing Epcot's Illuminations that night, but it is also evening EMH there. I was trying to loosely avoid the parks with the EMHs, but when I realized 9/21 was the Halloween thing at MK, I just wondered if I'd be OK...

Thanks!

Question???

I checked out the Oct park times, seems to be in the past that nights the park closes at 7p is when the MNSSHP is that night.
I noticed that the 7p close times on 28th, 30th, & 31st for the last week of October.
Have they had the MNSSHP on Sunday's in the past?? The 28th is a Sunday.
Was planning on going Monday the 29th...but MK is open until 9p so, I am assuming that isn't a party day.

Thanks,

So if iI read the closing times correct. There is a party on the 7 and 11 of Oct.????

Our first trip ever to WDW will be this September and dd(3) loves Halloween! We plan on attending the party on September 28! Now, we just have to decide on what costumes to wear! :)

I'm so confused! I need to make ADRs on Monday and I want some official dates! DH and I are going w/o the kids for the Race for the Tatse for a few nights and didn't plan on MNSSHP, BUT if they have it on the 8th instead of the 9th as rumored we'll definitely be there! We've done this twice before and had a great time. We dressed up both times, too. It looks like going by the calendar it will be on the 8th cause it closes at 7, the 9th closes later. :confused3

Yes, before last year, the parties were in fact on Sundays instead of Mondays.

I kind of want to eat at Liberty Tree Tavern on the night of the party. My plan is not using our part tickets that day, just hanging at POP and resting up for the evening. Will I have to wait until 7 to get in for the party? I have also heard that CM's start letting people in as early as 4 with the wristbands. Thanks!

I've read just about everywhere (and I've read anything I can get my hands on!:surfweb:) that people get in around 4:30pm. Anyone have different info for us first-timers? :confused3

We haven't been to the MNSSHP but for the P&P party we were allowed in at 4:00. We had ressies at LTT but they didn't even ask. We spent the day in DTD and at the resort so we didn't need a ticket for the day.

I just called Disney dining and Liberty Tree Tavern is already booked up for September 21. The CM I spoke with told me that the final seating at LTT is for 5:45 that evening. That seems kinda early to me. Oh well, I guess we'll just keep our Kona ADR and keep checking for LTT.
