"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2016 - Have Yourself a Very Mickey Christmas.

December 1st.. Bringing my sister who has never seen Disney at Christmas. Can't wait...

Just got our tickets today! There will be two adults and three kids ages 7-6. I'm SUPER excited to experience this and we've waited for the kids to be old enough to stay up late enough to enjoy it.
My BIG fear is rain. I will be super upset if it rains because we will just be miserable (duh!).

I REALLY, REALLY want to meet the 7Ds and hope we get to do that. Right now our plans include an ADR at Chef Mickey at 2:30 and then we will go directly to the park after eating.

My understanding is that we can make FF+ b/w the hours of 4:00 and 7:00, is that true?

We will surely ride some rides, but I want to really experience the party aspect of this since we've been to MK 6-7 times. What are your TOP 3 must do/see outside of the parade and fireworks.

The 7 Dwarves will have a long line at the start of the event. You may have to line up before 6pm to be one of the first. What my wife and I did last year was wait until after the fireworks. Around 10:30pm the line was roughly 10 min long :D

We're going to WDW during the first week of the MVMCP (Jersey week). I was able to make 3 FP reservations for the 4 to 7 time frame...........1 being 7DMT! The trick was making the first one begin prior to 4pm. We won't enter until 4pm.........so I made a FB for 3:10 to 4:10 for Tinkerbell M&G (My wifes favorite)...........then our other 2 fall into place after that.

Have a great time!

Doug :goofy:

Hmm ... I'd rather meet them later then, if we could. I hate to have our young kids just stand in line for more than an hour.
And thank you to for the tip about making a FF+ time for before 4:00. I didn't really think about being able to do that, but it does work out.

If you remember maybe you could report back on how waiting to get in line later for the 7Ds. Our party is on Dec 6.

They should have a new character yearly - I THINK I got all the photos with Christmas characters - but I never got talking Mickey in his Christmas Attire.

That's the same night my friend and I will be going. I believe that's the last one (or one of the last ones). I worry it will be quite crowded. :crowded:
Sorry to butt in, but us too. It's our first and I managed to take some time off work to swing this trip. It's a dream of moms and I wanted to make it happen.

most of them sell out so it should be the same number of people. I would't not be too worried about it.

:yay: Excited for you both! My daughter's surprised me on Mother's Day last year with a gift of an all girls trip in November...MY first Christmas holiday visit. It worked out WELL...my life long dream was to see the Osborne Lights and shortly after I received their surprise we learned 2015 would be last year for the lights! :faint: The party was a "bonus surprise" and we enjoyed it so much I'm taking DH THIS December for his first Christmas holiday visit...and the party! :cool1: :tink:

Going with my 4 yr old daughter and husband on Dec. 1. My daughter loves everything Disney and has been to Disneyland and Disneyworld. She also loves Christmas so I can't wait to tell her about this trip and the fact that we're going to a Christmas party.

He didn't meet in his costume in 2014 I know that for a fact.
Oh... so is it random? I'm really just planning on watching the parade and fireworks but would love to insert this before leaving only if he's in his costume... (We plan to FP him on a regular day :))

He didn't in 2014, which was disappointing, but according to KtP he did in 2015. So I guess this year who knows? He is meeting in costume at MNSSHP this year.

People reporting mixed results over on the FP board about getting FP with a party ticket. Anyone have experience to report this year? My window is in 2 days.
