"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2016 - Have Yourself a Very Mickey Christmas.

I am thinking about going to the party on either Thursday December 1 or Friday December 2.

Which date do you guys think will have the least crowds? My gut is telling me 12/1, but I am not sure. Also, with it being that early in December, shouldn't the crowds be good for both dates?

We are going on the Podcast Cruise that starts that Sunday, so I am trying to get everything planned out.

I would go for 12/1. Being a weekday, I would think it would get less local folks.

We have tickets for 12/1!

We are wanting to go Nov 15 or 18. We won't be going to the parks on the 15 but we will be on the 18. What would you guys do? Go when we are spending the earlier part of the day at the parks or only go for the party on the 15?

I would go on the 15th. We are doing the party on a non park day so we'll be fully rested and can stay late for the entire party.

We're going on the 18th of November. Got tickets before we found a flight down from Denver to MCO which lands at 5:35 am. Thought about seeing if we can switch from 18th to 15th but DS said that he wants to go to Kennedy the day we fly in. So guess we're sticking with the 18th! First time for both of us!!

We are surprising our kids and grandkids with MVMCP! I thought some might like to know what I found- the only problem is I can't remember where :(! It is an awesome poem! It has 11 stanzas so I am only going to do the first and last so you can get the idea!
Once upon a Christmas time
In a far-off magic land
A merry little party
Got a little out of hand

Last: " Why this isn't merry at all!"
Mickey Mouse exclaimed.
"This Christmas is Very Merry!"
And so his party was named!

We are having a double digit party this weekend to celebrate hitting 99 days on our countdown! Can't wait for our first MVMCP!!!:santa:

On certain dates yes. When I purchased online, it showed me which dates were discounted for AP.

Found the dates with no discount summary on mouse for less:

Annual Passholder Blackout Dates: Nov 10, 13, 18, 27, 29, Dec. 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 15, 16, 18, 22

Ok, so we're squeezing in 12/4 for the party but I have a few questions (our trip wasn't supposed to include Disney, just BG, US & SW). If I buy tickets online and choose to have them shipped, will they still be linked to MDE at time of purchase? I'm waiting to use some gift cards and rewards dollars towards the tickets because I have some referral points to use after the next closing date. I want to be able to make FP+ choices at 60 days out.

We are going to the party on the 15th of November...I had not planned on doing any dinning during the party - but was able to get CRT for 10:45 that night, with little one's I would never dream of dining that late - BUT really want my daughter to se CRT...SO what I FIGURE to be a plus - is that this late reservation time - (based on last years schedule) should allow for us to do all or most of the party activities, watch the parade and fireworks and then head to CRT..

Does anyone that has experience with the party think that this makes sense or is it completely absurd?!!

Thanks!
