I might have answered my own question. I found an article that said in 2014, they officially opened it the Thursday before Thanksgiving.
Does anyone know: Will the gingerbread house will be up at the Grand Floridian by Nov 15? Or is that too early?
It was in 2013. We saw it on that date that year.
NoIs there any type of deal where you can just purchase photo pass for the party and not buy my memory maker? The party is our only park day so and I'd hate to spend $150 for one nights pictures, but I really want to take lots of flicks with all the characters.

Has anyone ever done the "Dreaming of a Disney Holiday" in-room decoration thing from Disney Floral & Gifts? Is it worth it? This will be our first time to Disney during Christmas, and I wanted there to be some type of Christmasy spirit in the room. Thanks so much in advance!
I kind of wondered about that, too! I wanted to get a little cooler tote with snacks for my mother-in-law, since she's treating us to the trip. I've heard they don't put them in your room before your arrival, just in case there are any problems or changes to your room. It's when people come back later that they see the in-room stuff.
I was a little sticker-shocked at the delivery charge, though. The gift I was looking at was $50, and then they charge something like $12 'deliver' to the room. I expected it to have free delivery to resorts.
I bought a 1-day Memory Maker package in 2014 for MVMCP. I think it was $39, included a Magic Band, and was good all day (not just at the party). I had to buy it at the TTC before getting to MK. You might call and ask, or check when you get there. I *think* I remember people being able to buy it last year, but it was not widely advertised.
EDIT TO ADD:
Here's the info I could find:
http://www.wdwmagic.com/other/photo...-photopass-product---memory-maker-one-day.htm
Also, from the Photopass site, updated in March:
"If you have purchased Memory Maker One Day, the Memory Maker Window begins at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time on (i) the day you use the one-day theme park admission with which Memory maker is bundled at purchase or (ii) if Memory Maker was purchased separately, the date of the photo selected on the My Disney Experience app or, if applicable, on MyDisneyPhotoPass.com when purchasing Memory maker or when linking a previously purchased Memory Maker code to your Disney account and ends at 5:59 a.m. Eastern Time on the following day."
So it looks like it is still an option!
I have a question about this. Is it correct that the Wishes Dessert Party people now eat at Tomorrowland Terrace and are then escorted down to the old FP+ area in the hub to watch the fireworks? I just watched a Youtube of the Dessert Party and that was what those folks did. So, will that be the same for Holiday Wishes Dessert Party during a MVMCP? And is there a special parade viewing spot too for Dessert Party people? If so, where is that located?I don't use special parties to ride rides, so that isn't a concern. We like to do the "special" stuff, like the Christmas parade and fireworks. The photo ops too, but there's still PLENTY of time to do those while also doing the dessert party. You also aren't REQUIRED to do the parade viewing, so you can just show up at Tomorrowland Terrace when the fireworks are starting, and watch the later parade (if there is one this year). I think it's worthwhile, but that is just me. We are doing both the Halloween dessert party and the Christmas one this year.

I agree about the current description, which clearly states fireworks at the tomorrowland terrace. I signed up too but a little worried about the view of the fireworks and seeing celebrate the magic...I signed up for the Dessert Party, and I hope this is true. However, doesn't sound that way on the current description. Perhaps there is another added fee "premium" event that will use that spot?
