"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2016 - Have Yourself a Very Mickey Christmas.

So quick question (sorry if it has been answered somewhere else), I booked the dessert party for the Dec 6th MVMCP and with 2 little munchkins I am loving the idea of better viewing. Just curious if the parade has actual "seating" or just standing in the flagpole area. Either way it will still be better, but I am just trying to plan for what to expect. Thanks!

No seating for the parade...but you will get a table for the dessert party and fireworks.

Just thought of another question. We are offsite and attending the party only. I know we don't need MBs for the party, but what about for FP+ from 4-7? How does that work without MBs?

I haven't attended the Christmas party but I went to the Halloween one last year. If you purchase party tickets you get a plastic credit card styled ticket. This is what you will show to get into the park prior to getting the event only wristband. This is also what you will use for your fastpasses. Now to book FP+ you'll need to make sure you link the party ticket to your My Disney Experience account and make your selections that way. Hope this helps.

If you are already in MK for the day, where are the kiosks located to pick up your MVMCP bracelet?

According to the Disney website you can pick it up at the Tomorrowland terrace between 4-7
Correction, that's for the dessert party. Normal party tickets can be picked up at guest services. If you order online or by phone and have my Disney experience set up they should link it to your Disney experience. When I ordered via ONline I asked that they mail the tickets but that was early on so I don't know if that is still an option now. I received plastic ticket via mail.

Our MVMCP tickets are linked to our MDE. My understandings is that there are kiosks set up in the park for those that also have the event ticket so that we don't have to leave the park and re-enter. Just wondering where those are.

that's for the Dessert Party. I was asking about the MVMCP tickets. We are planning to be in the park that day. We have the MVMCP tickets linked to our MDE account. My understanding is that there are kiosks set up in the park and you just have to visit one of those to get your bracelet for the event. I was wondering where those typically are set up.

In my opinion getting a good spot for the parade and fireworks isn't an issue and the time spent at the desert party I can use to make sure I get on more rides or take more photo pass photos!

I don't use special parties to ride rides, so that isn't a concern. We like to do the "special" stuff, like the Christmas parade and fireworks. The photo ops too, but there's still PLENTY of time to do those while also doing the dessert party. You also aren't REQUIRED to do the parade viewing, so you can just show up at Tomorrowland Terrace when the fireworks are starting, and watch the later parade (if there is one this year). I think it's worthwhile, but that is just me. We are doing both the Halloween dessert party and the Christmas one this year.

Assuming it is like MNSSHP last year, FPs have to end by 6:30. So you'll want to make them starting at 3:30 or so.

It plight vary from year to year but I know there has been anamed area set up my Stitch and Laugh FactoRyan in the past. I believe there is also one in Frontierland.

I'm starting to think about my game plan for the MVMCP. I have tickets to the party on Dec 1 with my husband and 4 year old (at party time). My 4 year old is currently a big sleeper so not sure we'll be able to stay out much past 9 or 9:30. She loves characters. How are the lines for the characters during the party? I want to make sure to do the special party events, but I was wondering if I should get her excited for characters too. Any good strategies for seeing the characters? My kid would spend an hour in line to see her 'friends', but I also don't want to miss what the party has to offer either. Thanks.

Go to one of the dance parties. She will not be able to get autographs, but she could enjoy dancing with them.

No, we may not have an event schedule until someone goes the first night and post it. The first party is early Nov. So you will still have several weeks to plan. This is another case of hurry up and wait.

Does anyone know: Will the gingerbread house will be up at the Grand Floridian by Nov 15? Or is that too early?
