This might be a little off the subject, but since many of us will be visiting at the end of November or early December, I thought it might be worth bringing up... do any of you MVMCP vets decorate your rooms during your stay?

I'll be honest, if it's December, I have to have a Christmas tree lit up and decorated at my house. I'm thinking about shipping a smaller cheep one down that I can toss when we leave (not very green of me, I know). I looked at the Disney Floral and Gift site where they can do one for you, but $400+ for a tree is a bit much - even for Disney. I'm also thinking of bringing down the stockings for the family and loading those up sometime during the stay even though we leave to go back home on Dec 23rd. I know my wife will think I'm nuts when I tell her (I get it often), but if I'm going to combine Disney with Christmas, I got to go all out... right?

Does anyone have any good tips or hints about doing up the room? Am I going too far?

Hi! I'm bringing our stockings and hooking them up with those command picture hangers. Also a wreath for our door and having amazon deliver a teeny tiny tree. I plan on picking up some mini Disney ornaments either at Walmart or dollar store. I kind of went crazy decorating for Halloween a few years back... Oops I forgot, I'm also going to get some of those gel snowflake thingies to put on our window. Plus its my honeyman's and my 20th wedding anniv. (2nd time we got married in Vegas-another story! Lol) so I'm planning some kind of surprise for that. Not sure just what yet? But I bet there will be a lot of decorations! I'm even planning on leaving our mousekeeper a little stocking with cash in it... Sooooo fun!

Need help with my touring plan, please. There are just 2 adults... We have pretty much decided to eat at Chef Mickey's prior to entering park at 4pm. (We already have our ADRs). My plan looks really good, except I'm not sure just how much time to allow to wait for 7 dwarfs. What would be a reasonable time to line up? And approx. how long should we plan to wait in line? I don't want to spend my entire party time waiting on them, but would really like to see them. Are they only out at 7pm by Mine Train, or do they take a break and then return? Not finding this info readily. Our date is Tuesday December 15th. Thank you all on this board!

I'd be in line by 6, and you should be done by 8. Once the parties start we can get some real-time data, but that's what worked last year. They meet all night, with breaks throughout.

We are thinking of doing AK in the morning then heading to MK for the party at 4pm. Since we can do 3 FP+ a day, are we able to do 1 FP+ at AK and then do the remaining 2 for the day at MK or do they have to be at the same park?

Your original 3 must be at the same park. You can schedule 3 at AK then schedule additional day-of FPs at MK once you arrive, though.

You can't split them unfortunately. If you RD AK you shouldn't need FP there.
