Well, tomorrow vacation officially starts after work. We'll head to the airport hotel for the evening. We'll eat some take-out and watch a Disney movie and get to bed early.
Then we get up early and get to the airport at the crack of dawn. By lunch time we'll be at Universal!!!!!
My 8 year old is so excited he can barely stand it. Luckily tomorrow they have some special events planned at school so he'll have a fun day to pass the time.

DD is doing a 24 hour famine project for her school. I support her efforts but I'm not terribly excited about dragging a kid who hasn't eaten in 22 hours off to her vacation. We'll make sure to have food ready at the 24 hour mark

Last minute packing to finish today. Today is the shuffling of what goes in what carry-on and making sure all the things we couldn't pack yet are safely stowed away.

SO CLOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just over a month left and I can't think of anything else. I'm at work reading Dis all day

This is my first post (I've just been stalking the boards for the past few months) We are staying at Kidani Village starting on the 28th. There are 9 of us going , my DW, DS3, dad, mom, cousin, cousin's husband and cousin's D4 (turning 5 during trip).

Ohhhh, you folks leaving are so lucky! I still have 17 days to go. But you know what? This month has flown by, so I'm thinking the last 2 weeks will go fast (with the exception of the day before).
