****Official May 2012 Thread**** ALMOST TIME TO LEAVE!!

Question of the Day:

What are your breakfast plans? Are you eating in your room, quick service, table service, etc…. ?

Breakfast is one of the few meals my DH will actually eat a lot of so we have quite a few planned.

We arrive Friday afternoon so won't have to worry about that morning...

Saturday we're going to take advantage of the continental breakfast at Red Roof Inn... we'll see.

Sunday we'll grab something from Main Street Bakery (YUM!)

Monday is Hollywood & Vine before park opening.

Tuesday is Tusker House before park opening.

Wednesday is Grand Floridian Cafe.. then off to parasail

Thursday we'll eat in the condo before we leave for Universal. Butterbeer will be my breakfast :)

Friday we'll be eating at 'Ohana.

I can't wait to NOT have to cook!!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo:

8 days!!!

Question of the Day:

We'll be in a studio and have a kitchenette. We always make breakfast sandwiches in the morning (Hey this question just reminded me to pack the microwave egg cooker!! Thanks!).

When we did deluxe dining I booked a breakfast and a late dinner every day. I LOVED most of the breakfast buffets. This time we purchased the ddp and it made more sense to book dinners. I'll miss the before park opening breakfasts.

We are always at rope drop in the mornings, so it's way more convenient to grab something in the room and be done with it and ready to hit the rides!

We're going to eating at the Pepper Market in the morning for the breakfast buffet other than 3 or 4 days where we have a breakfast booked at 'Ohana, Tusker House & Trail's End - then also when we go to Discovery cove it's included.

I don't know how I am going to get through work today and I really have NO IDEA how I am going to sleep tonight. DISNEY TOMORROW.

Have a great trip!! I leave Tuesday and I believe we will be at MK and HS on the same day if my memory serves me right. I don't know about you, but for me these last few days are dragging by.

Thank you Jessica for this thread, you have been great!!

:woohoo: for everyone leaving in the next few days. Have a safe and wonderful trip!!

We are still 27 days out, but it's slowly coming! :yay:

Our breakfast plans will probably just be in our room most days. I am the only one who really eats breakfast so we are bringing oatmeal and cereal. We'll probably go to POFQ and buy some beignets one morning and maybe eat in the food court at some point but no restaurant plans!

Question of the Day:

We always eat breakfast in the room. Makes it much easier in the morning. Plus, I love my dark roast coffee. We usually have one morning that my DH cooks a big breakfast. Normally, I make biscotti, my BFF makes a special harvest loaf with choc. chips and we also have bagels, yogurt, bananas, etc. We try to start the day halfway healthy, LOL!

6 more days to go!!!

Question of the day: We have a few character breakfasts already planned, other then that we like to just grab a bagel and some fruit most mornings, or have a protein bar (we pack a bunch of those to bring along)

Question of the Day:

With the lone exception of eating breakfast at chef Mickey's, we will be eating breakfast in our room all the other days. It's easier and we can make the RD is we want.

We have pre-opening park breakfasts at Akershus and Crystal Palace. We have one at 'Ohana and Cape May, as well. While at BC, we'll eat in the club lounge. Other than that, we'll just wing it.

Question of the Day:

We have a mix. Some early entry breakfasts, some will be CS and some will be in the room.

I hope everyone that is leaving soon, has a safe and magical trip!!! We are headed out on Sunday!! :woohoo::woohoo:

Just eating at the resort cafeteria every morning! We MIGHT use a quick service to eat at Flame Tree for lunch one day, but that's it. We're not lunch people... lol All our table service meals are for dinner.

Question of the Day:

What are your breakfast plans? Are you eating in your room, quick service, table service, etc…. ?

We have ordered some quick breakfast items from Garden Grocer for most days - just to get us by until we start snacking at the parks!!! I do plan on having a couple of Cherry Turnovers (if I can find them) on some days also.

Our last day is the only day that I have a character breakfast scheduled: Cape May !!

Question of the Day:

What are your breakfast plans? Are you eating in your room, quick service, table service, etc…. ?

We aren't big breakfast eaters and usually order a few breakfast/snack items from Garden Grocer. Occasionally, we'll pop over to the resort food court and pick up a light breakfast.

For those of you who are traveling late May have you already gotten your Mickey Mail? I received our cruise documents last week but nothing for our WDW package yet.

Question of the Day:

Please share any trip organization tips that you have for others! It can be anything from your daily park book bag, to your luggage, anything in your room...etc...

Mousesavers.com has a HUGE premade packing that covers everything under the sun. I have been deleting the things I won't need to bring (Example: Kid's bathing suits. Don't have any kids, don't need bathing suits for them :rotfl:) and adding things that we need that are not on the list. You can download it here. (It will automatically start downloading the document).

I'm jealous of everyone leaving today or soon! We still have 26 days to go!

Question of the Day:

We are eating in our room almost every day. We pack bagels and cream cheese, donuts, microwaveable sausage biscuits...all easy, quick stuff that we can eat while getting ready.

We do have one early Akershus breakfast reservation. It was supposed to be our end of trip meal, but then we added a day, so now it's just an Epcot day.

We also take our Dolce Gusto so we can have some good coffee in the morning.

We aren't big breakfast people, but since we are driving to Disney (well from South Florida), we will stop at a grocery store before we get there to get granola bars or something of the like to munch on for breakfast while waiting for rope drop.

10 days!!! I can't believe it is coming up so soon. We leave for FL in 8 days though

We just eat cereal and breakfast bars the room and get a snack in the park if we get peckish.

We eat in our room everyday unless we make a ts reservation at Crystal Palace. We buy a package of English Muffins and have a glass of juice. I'm not a fan of the breakfast at Roaring Forks and it keeps the eating cost down.
