****Official May 2012 Thread**** ALMOST TIME TO LEAVE!!

WOW - I had no idea early entry was 7am :scared1: I bet it helps a lot with the crowds, though. Have to plan that for our August trip. Definitely want to get into WWoHP before the crowds :thumbsup2

I know. My emotions went from "Yay.. early entry!!" to "7 a.m. opening? Uh oh" all in one email:rotfl:

I'm up at 5 during the week and the kids and my husband are up by 6:30 most days so it shouldn't be an issue. Especially to go have fun instead of going to work or schools!!:)

Why oh Why am I resisting the packing??:confused:
I am so excited for the trip, yet every time I go to pack I find something else to do. Like post here!
Ok. I am going to do it now. Really. Honest.
Here I go...

ETA) I forgot to add... I woke up to one of those "You're almost here!!" emails from Universal. Since we're staying onsite we have early entry for Spiderman and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. At 7a.m.! We are early morning rope drop people for sure.. but to be ready to hit the park at 7 am we're going to need to get up by 6 at the latest. I think we need to start going to bed early and getting up an hour early this week to be ready!

7 is early!! but it'll be worth it :thumbsup2 How far in advance did you get the email? a week? I guess i'll have to check for it and get mine on the laptop at our condo b/c we arrive 2 weeks before we get to Universal.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm so tired :( We've been changing our sleep schedule to meet up with the Florida time zone better so I've been waking up a bit early and cramming SO much getting ready stuff in that it's wiping me out. I just need several hours to sit on the computer and zone out but i don't see it coming anytime soon. I hate it how SOO many things seem to come up last minute when you are getting ready for a trip.
Oh well, only 5 more days - I CAN DO IT!!!
You can do it!!! On Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays I get up for work at 5. In the afternoon I am free (work from home) so I always grab a nap for a bit. This week I am going to try really hard not to do that. That way I will be used to going to bed by 10 and falling straight to sleep and getting up at 6.
That's the plan anyway. But I suspect I will be just like you this week and overwhelmed and tired.
I hope you get some down time tonight!
My son is packed. One down, three to go. I think I'm going to go on a sock and underwear run to Walmart. I like to bring new stuff on vacation. Is it necessary? No. Do I want to do it anyway. Yes.:rotfl:
11 more days and I have completely failed with the pre trip diet :(
I'm seeing a fertility specialist a couple of days after coming home and I know my weight will likely be a bit higher than it is now. Really have to try and not do too much damage while I'm in the States(easier said than done with free dining)
You havn't failed yet - just a set back - and my SIL is about to give birth to twins from IVF and the important thing is your BMI so remember that. Enjoy Disney before you start those crazy hormones. AND - remember all the walking you will be doing - it will conteract all the free dining. :lmao:
Here I go...
I sent my oldest off with her godmother today so I was able to get the box I'm mailing down done and made a huge dent on packing. Only have a few minimal items to throw into the suitcase.
Guilty. :blush: There's something about new undies. ;)
Thank you :)
Luckily my BMI is well below 30, which is the highest the clinic will accept so I don't have to worry about it. It's just that I had a personal goal in mind, which I didn't reach.
I am not going to stress out about it and will enjoy my trip to WDW with my mum and then start fresh after I come back
That's a great plan! I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing trip:)
5 days to go here!!! We have to finish the packing here today. I need to get the really important things packed. I tend to stress about the reservation info, tickets, and essential medications. Once that is all squared away everything else is easily replaceable if we forget it.
We booked! Yes we are going May 13 to 21. Myself and three kids DH is no longer Disney fan but I will celebrate mothers day with my children. Staying POR have not stayed there since they were little now all grow up. 19, 21, and 23 years old. If you see us say hello three kids tall and thin myself short and not so thin. Have a great trip everyone.
Ellen :banana:
:confused3Ugh - just noticed my ticker's wrong today - should be 1 week and 5 days. Some days it's right, and sometimes it's off a day
Congrats to everyone in the single digits! how exciting! I completed a mini-pre WDW goal yesterday by running (as in the whole time, not walking) a 5k adventure race. Might do one more next week if the hubby really wants to run!
Now I can concentrate on the final 9 pounds (as of this morning) falling off before the trip!
I heard the funniest convo yesterday at my son's tball game. A father was telling a story about how cheap his sister is and how she shipped cases of water to her hotel for Disney. lol I don't think that's cheap!!
