Is there a 12-step program for children traumatized by Disney vacations?
It is one month and counting. Am I allowed to giggle and dance yet?
Wow I have never seen this thread before...
We are arriving at Animal Kingdom's Kidani Villas ( no idea if that is the correct name) on May 9th we are sooo excited. We have never planned a Disney trip before, it's usually spur of the moment thing...this time we are 1300 miles away and it takes more planning then when we were 6 hours away. Ah the good old days.!!
So I have started shopping and packing, and I even have these cute little lables for the pressed penny money holders from the folks in the Disign area...I love this place.
Here's to great weather and low crowds!
Yes. You are allowed to,
,
,
, and otherwise act ridiculous like the rest of us. Oh, and you can also start packing.
Have fun![]()
Nope, nuts!Or they will be when they get there
Or maybe very, very close

I remember the olden days when we used to make the drive to Florida with the kids either laying up over the back seat by the glass or in the back of the camper. It's a wonder any of them survived to tell about it
Maybe that's why DS hates Disney and refuses to go back
Probably traumatized the child.
Good for you! Ya'll have a great and safe trip. We always travel by car wherever we go. The adults are usually the ones ready for the break from one another by the end of the trip. But, we are usually planning the next trip on the way home. We just make sure the trips are about a year apart.Hey, we're not crazy! We've done this trip lots of times - in fact, we last did it in December with the same crew except one extra driver. We try to make the trip part of the vacation: new videos for the kids to watch in the van, new cds, new activity books, new toys, and we plan ahead to stop frequently (we rely on that I-75 book that lists all the rest areas, restaurants, hotels and gas stations along the route). No traumatized kids. I really enjoy the chance to spend the time with my grandkids without the distraction of work and household chores.

I have been doing pressed coins for years but this is the first I have heard of lables. Tell me more please?
Good news May Dissers!!! Shuttle Atlantis is scheduled for liftoff on May 12th at 1:31 pm, so anyone at disney that day should be able to look east and see it go up, or you can make your way over here to the coast to see it! It's an awesome sight if you have never seen it, I live here and it NEVER gets old!!! NEVER!!!
Got my mickey mail today too!!! WOOHOOO!! That makes it a little more real! 31 days for me!

I just discovered the DISign area the other day, and there are some incredibly giving and talented folks over there.
