***Official March 2021 Thread***

Curious - we haven't started looking yet - but where are you thinking of stopping?
I drove straight through to Orlando from Dayton (14 hours) in October. But when we drive to Fort Myers Beach (17 hours) we usually stop.

We've had the best 2nd day that felt easy when we push to Lake City, FL (barely over the GA/FL Border) though usually we stop in the Voldosta, GA area. IF at all possible, do shoot to get on the other side of Atlanta if you're going 75.

we will not drive from nh so no fly no go and we have the green week to

I will be flying as I am in CA. According to Mapquest, it would be 39 hours of driving (kill me at the thought), and I do not have an extra 2 weeks of PTO to use for driving each direction!

Our trip driving is 12 hours. I tell people all the time it's only like 5 left turns from my house to Disney. We live a few miles off 95 in Virginia so basically we go straight for 800 miles. lol

First week of March-goers, check your hours, they just extended.

Both HOORAY and UGH. I had a dinner reservation at Skipper Canteen for 5:45 PM with a 6 PM close which would give me a nice meal and the ability to exit through a (mostly) empty park. Now MK closes at 7 PM.

They extend the hours but it seems to take a day or two to change the ability to make a dining reservation...

On our EP day, hours are 11-7 (last week of March). When hours change, is it only closing time that’s affected? Or will it be possible for opening time to change as well? I’m liking that 11:00 opening!

I don't think it's opened earlier-? I'm just wondering which closing time we'll get for mid March-8,9,10 or 11. :) All affects my current plans, wish they would just make the changes now, surely they have an idea.

This Epcot day would be the night we get a babysitter, and I’d love to plan! What is the timeline pattern for hour changes? 2 weeks before?

Yes. I think they might have changed some days earlier, again not positive. I feel like this coming weekend was extended 2x.
But, it also has APs booking up parks, so far our week for APs is green, so they must wait for those bookings and then extend.
BUt yes, to answer your question, 2 weeks seems to be the norm. 😁

If I remember correctly from watching the hours they seem to add hours to Epcot and MK at closing and HS and AK at opening.

Well... made our final payment so that plan is to actually go. lol.

I need the hours to get situated for mid-March so I can figure out my rope dropping plans! It's going to be tough this time around to get there as early as I would like, I think.

Interesting that the hours were only extended by 1 hour at closing and not 3-4 like we’ve been seeing in Feb? Unless I’m looking in the wrong place. Any insight as to why?
