Anyone else not working and just revisiting Disney plans over and over? Anyone? No... oh, okay....

I would have preferred 9am starts too, but I'll take it! Will be nice to have AK after dark--should be much more pleasant than a 5pm close.

Now I just have to play the dining reservation reshuffle game....

I am looking forward to the later AK and Epcot hours.

It’s just crazy to me that HS closes at 7. I don’t understand why Hollywood Studios has the shortest hours of all 4 parks. They have Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge...which are some of the biggest and most popular additions to WDW. PLUS they have MMRR, which just opened last spring. And it seems that’s the park that fills up the fastest with park reservations. Why can’t they keep it open longer, so more people can get a boarding group? I just don’t get it.

Clearly I’m disappointed that the hours didn’t get extended as long as I had hoped.

They did. AK is 8-8, Epcot is 11-11 and Hs is 9-7 all that week

Wow! I'll rope drop no matter what but eek. We don't have a 7am open day while we are there (as of now) so thankfully I don't need to make that decision!

Slightly off topic from all the new hours excitement, but curious since it opens in 2 days--anyone planning to do Blizzard Beach? We've never been and would love to hear some first hand accounts here of what it is like post-reopening in the next couple of weeks.

Yep. Love the extra hours but hate that it makes me rethink every rope drop plan, ADR etc.

Agreed! I love the extra hours but I have to drop a few breakfasts now.

I wish! I love water parks but my DH does not... since its his birthday trip, I am trying to do things his way more than I normally would lol

We've never been to either of the water parks. My kids would have enjoyed it but my husband would not.

They should but it tends to take a few days for the reservations to be added. I'm not sure about the ones at resorts though, just the parks. I would just keep an eye on it several times through the day.

It appears that they added later reservations for AK. Yak and Yeti, Tiffins, Rainforest Cafe.

The animal kingdom restaurant hours have been extended to 8pm. Other parks will follow suit soon. However, every restaurant you mention is at resorts and those are not affected by park hours—you could always book late evening reservations at them at 60 days.
