**Official March 2017 Thread**

I'm reading a thread on another forum. Someone is claiming that taking photographs of your food is rude even though you're not using a flash. Having been here on disboards for several years, it seems strange that anyone could think that. :)

It is not rude to take photos of your food, as long as you take them before the food has been eaten.

Oh wow! I have always taken pics of my food, and I didn't know that people thought that. Of course I only do it at Disney. I always nod my head when I see someone take a picture of their food, like "I get you, you all right". LOL:smooth:

As Im getting buried under a foot and a half of snow, I decided to see what I can look forward to.........

Who is saying this, someone who was at Disney and didn't like others taking pics of their food? It's definitely someone who doesn't read dining reports here lol. I'll be taking pictures of all our food this month and in May for my next dining report :thumbsup2

We're over 2 feet of snow now and it's still coming down :scared1: These temps look great!! Although 90 in March, wow! Our last March trip was early in the month and it was chilly and rainy; I like this much better.

Question:

We leave in 2 days. I'm looking at the 10-day forecast and I'm having a lot of trouble packing. Daytime, no issue. Highs in the high 70's/low 80's but the Evening is my issue... mid to low 50's. I find that chilly in shorts/skirt/capris especially for my super skinny no meat on bones children. Advice??

For those of you who are there or just got back... What does the weather feel like???

I worry too much, but after the week I had...

Thanks!!! I have to finish packing tomorrow :)

Weather was mild and pleasant March 1 - 7. Wore light jacket or sweatshirt in the evenings. Weather was more hot and humid March 8 - 9. Rained evening of March 9, but that was only because it was the one time I didn't carry my poncho. Weather fairly mild again March 10 - 11. It's good to bring clothes for a variety of weather so you can adjust as the weather changes. I brought some warmer shirts and some lighter shirts, and was glad I had both. Looks like you all will need to bundle up on some of those evenings.

I just arrived at All Star Music joining my 22yo daughter who has been pushing my 89yo mom in her wheelchair through DHS and Epcot for the past 2 days while I was at a funeral. I'm so proud of how she stepped up to take care of her grandmother when our plans changed a few days ago. They have been having a blast! Tomorrow will be all day at MK. It's supposed to be 48 degrees when we go to catch the bus for rope drop!!

40's would seem tropical to me right now!

Of course I hoping for perfect weather for my entire trip, but my most important days are 03/26 (we are going to Discovery Cove for the first time to swim with the dolphins :) ) and 04/01 - 04/02 when my nieces will be dancing at HS and in the MK parade. Other than those days, Ill deal with whatever mother nature brings us.

If you want to bring a light jacket that you can tie around your waist, I would or make a trip back to your hotel if you could before sunset. The days will be warm but once that sun sets it will cool off. The last time we went, I told the kids that upper 50s would be no problem and not that cold. Well that evening it was chilly and 4 years later they still tease me. (and we live in Florida and it was cool to us, and we are hot blooded...)

Just finished shoveling again. So glad to be leaving on Friday night! 2 nights at my SIL about 2 hours away, then we all go back to WDW. We have brunch reservations at the California Grill for 12:20, so we are heading right there before we check in at Wyndham Bonnet Creek.

I just was waiting and fooling around in MDE and decided to look at BOG for breakfast on Sat the 25th. Score! Me and my DH will go and then my DD will do rides instead. She won't appreciate the $24 omelette;) or the experience.

We are staying off-site, so can't run back to the room, but it's the "pants and shorts" issue that I'm running into, can't really convert those to a jacket LOL!

We only needed a light jacket or fleece sweater in the mornings and evenings. It warmed up quickly during the day and was definitely t-shirt and shorts weather. My kids were able to wear tank tops on the couple days it was in the high 70's/low 80's, but we have long, cold, snowy winters here at home so high 70's is tank top weather to us. I am so missing the Florida sunshine . It's 20 degrees here and the snow won't let up!What's making it worse is the wind chill and high winds blowing the snow around :cold: . I've already began doing some research for our Orlando trip next year. We want to do three days at Universal and either a day at Legoland or a day at Sea World. I may have to squeeze a little Disney in that trip . We will do our next Disney only trip in two years - either summer 2019 for my 40th birthday or Labor Day week 2019 for free dining (crossing fingers for that and for at least one of the new lands at Hollywood Studios to be done) :goodvibes.

Weather channel is showing 53 and 54 for Monday and Tuesday evening. (We will be there Mon-Fri next week) I think for us, at least those 2 days we will weather jeans. Capris and tennis shoes would be ok too, but sandals may leave you a bit chilly. I pack jeans, capris and shorts. (Over pack for sure I know:crazy:) The 60's I think would be safe enough for shorts... I am watching the weather like a hawk to be sure.

On the bus to the Magic Kingdom right now! I'm on my own today as my friend's early flight got canceled (she should get in tonight--praying all goes well) so a bit sad, but Disney!! And BOG dinner tonight! So excited :)

Have a WONDERFUL Magical time!! Yippee, hope your friend makes it safely there.

Hi everyone DD and I are currently sitting inside the American Adventure waiting for Voices of Liberty.
We have visited 2 food booths in China we had spiced chicken and lettuce wraps and Kung Fu Panda punch :drinking1 delicious.
In Italy we enjoyed parmigiana with meatballs very good.
Lunch at Via Napoli was great as always.
We spent yesterday in AK and saw more animals than we ever have before. The lions and cheetah's were very active. We walked the Maharajah Jungle Trek and saw silver back gorillas and their babies very cool.
Finally saw Flights of Wonder what a treat.
We've also be taking advantage of the special park to park buses. What a great service :thumbsup2
