** Official ** March 2011!!!

WOOHOO! I just booked our Disney trip from March 12-18! We are staying in a two bedroom villa at Saratoga Springs!

The next thing I have to look forward to is our ADR date of 9/13! Yippee! :yay:

I will also be checking in on the 12th! Can't wait until we can book those ressies!

I've been so busy planning our Dec trip that I totally forgot that the ADR date for our March trip is coming up!! So I e-mailed AKL IPO the other day and heard back yesterday morning. I so have to work on our ADRs. I have no clue what I want though.

We are planning on doing the sunrise safari and Narcossees on our anniversary. We don't want to do things we have already done and being that we have the same policy for our Dec trip and we have 14 TS meals planned we don't have much more to chose from LOL. I really need to get on the ball.

Can't wait though!

:cool1::cool1::cool1:
Goin' to POR 3/26-4/1/2011 for Grand Gathering!
Can't wait!

So what is the latest gossip and rumor out there about additional discounts for the rest of march?

I am hearing that there may be more released in November from my friend who is a cast member with Disney Destinations. Anyone hear anything else?

Jennifer

I am looking at the hrs for March (from the disneytravelagent thing) and I see that the 6,7,8, that MK is open until 11pm.

I thought the first week of March is a good time to go, what you yall think?

Thanks
Brooke:)

Last year we were there from the 10-15 and compared to when we normally go it was a breeze. So I am not much help. We normally go at Christmas and we never have a problem seeing all we want to see. But that time in March was much less crowded. There was a cheer competition that had THOUSANDS of cheerleaders and there was also a band comp. that had a ton of band members as well. But this year I believe the cheerleaders are coming in mid month and the first week should be good. Anything is managable with a good plan though. Have fun!

Can I be included as well? I just made the resverations for Feb. 27th through March 5th. We are going to Coco Beach first on the 25th and 26th to see the last Shuttle launch, and hang out at the beach. Then off to Disney! I am so excited. I have only been to Epcot for a few hours and the kids have never been.

We booked a pirate room in the Caribbean Beach Resort and I think the kids are going to love it!

I can't wait to read in the boards and to help me plan the trip. I am feeling a little lost with everything.

Now I just need to find cheap airfare from Denver.

We'll be going 3/3 - 3/9. I was looking at the calendar for park hours posted here, and noticed that they don't always have EMH mornings during this time? Is that normal?

Kind of dissapointed in that, although DH will be glad that he can get a LITTLE extra sleep ;)

I think that week will be a lot more crowded than people expect.

We'll be there in March too! Escaping Mardi Gras. Our dates are March 4 - 12half the week at BCV and the other half at BLT. 191 days and counting...

Pocahantas, we'll be there for the exact same dates. :)

So, stupid question, but if we book now (on our own, not through a travel agent) and a good deal is announced later on, can we ammend our reservation to take advantage of any deal? I've been kind of holding out as far as booking our room and/or package but really don't want to wait until November...

I just checked the crowd levels for our stay and it looks like the crowds are going to be really light! 10 is the highest. Yeah less waiting and more riding.

Is there a web site where you can check crowd levels? If so, can someone provide the link?

TIA!

Your so called stupid question isn't so stupid. I myself was wondering the same thing. I'm a little iffy about booking now but I'm afraid if I wait too long, there won't be any rooms left in my hotel of choice.

Yeah, if anyone has a link for crowd levels, it would be appreciated. I can not seem to find that information on my own. I am going to be staying March 13 - 19, so if anyone has information for those dates, it would be very helpful. Thanks.

I don't know if there is anywhere that gives you this information for free. I know that tourguidemike has it - but you have to pay for his site (worth it imo) and agree not to share that information. I know there is another site (also paid) that has this info - which isn't to be shared - but I can't remember the name of it - it's too early in the morning. I'm sure someone will chime in with a name for you. :)

If you book yourself and a code comes out you can apply it if there is availabilty. They only allot a certain amount of discounted rooms at each resort so the room you have booked may not be eligible. The worst that could happen is you have to switch to another resort to apply the code. I know when we went on 2008 I was able to apply a discount to both our rooms!

Count me in! We are going for free dining (but upgraded to deluxe) February 28-March 4th for my best friends 30th birthday (which is March 2nd). Staying at POR (I stay at CSR EVERY trip but she wanted to switch it up) and have 6 days till I need to make dining plans----which I have mapped out already ;)

I am OVERLY excited about this trip since I was fortunate enough to go 2-3 times a year but I purchased my first home last October (just 30 days after returning from my 3rd 2009 trip) and haven't gone back---so it'll be 18 MONTHS between trips and I am bursting at the seams!

So let's start the planning :)
