We raided the Home Depot in the area We got as many as we could because my cute little chihuahua, Tinkerbell, likes to make it snow out of mommy's paperwork and things that are important. Speaking of dogs, has anyone ever taken a pet to WDW? We're already planning our family trip for August 2011 and I don't have the heart to keep her home.

Also very excited - got reservations for Le Cellier for late lunch on our Epcot Day 2! They had previously been booked. Very happy!!

Waiting on ANOTHER snow storm up here in IN - 7 to 9 inches by Wednesday. Hearing that it was only in the 50's at Daytona today so I'm really hoping for some warm weather down there in 33 days!

Speaking of dogs, has anyone ever taken a pet to WDW? We're already planning our family trip for August 2011 and I don't have the heart to keep her home.

They are currently building a luxury hotel kennel I heard. I have not brought our dog, but I know my Godmother does, as they bring the RV and stay at Fort Wilderness. If I was staying there, I would consider it, but most likely I would board at home, Especially if we are flying and not driving.

The 15 day temps are looking better - highs near 70 and lows around 60....MUCH better! I can't believe it's less than 2 weeks now. I am also praying for healthy kids - mine just got over a very nasty virus, high fevers, colds and are now on antibiotics for ear infections. I'm hoping this means the worst is behind us and that they will be healthy when we leave! It helps that they are off from preschool this week and aren't being exposed to all the germs.

Add us please!! We'll be at POFQ from 3/24-3/31 It's a mommy/daughter trip. I'll be with DD2 to watch DD1 with her HS marching band at Magic Kingdom on the 28th. Grandma and Grandpa are even stopping through for a couple of days with their RV to spend some time with us.

That was us last year! It is so awesome to watch the band march down Main Street. Enjoy!

I've probably whined about this before, but I guess I'm going to have to give up the hope that Southwest would drop rates or I'd catch a ding to be able to change my Saturday return to Sunday. (Or at least to later Saturday!) Alright--pity party over.

The marching band from our town will be down there too! My oldest DS is in the band, but wasn't eliglible for the trip this year because he is only a freshman and will get to go when he is a senior. We found out that his band will be down there for part of our stay and at the same hotel as us! Crazy! He is happy that he might get to see a few of his friends while we are down there.


I have a question for you veterans. We bought a package with a 6 day park ticket. How do those work exactly? We didn't get a park hopper option because we figure we will just do one park a day and then go back to MK our last day. I am just wondering if we get some sort of pass and then get a ticket for the park we want to go to that day or what? Is there anything that should be done in advance? This is all new to me.

Oh, and one more question. We got our Magic Express luggage tags in the mail last week. Is there anything else I should be expecting in the mail? Or was that it? I am really not sure how one survives planning a Disney trip without this DISboard!!
