Wookie, I have never personally dyed my hair, but I've dyed several friends and if anything, I've learned is that hair dye never works the way you want it to.Are you thinking to dye it again to cover the Auburn color?
In other news, we're getting into 45 day dance season!!!!!!!!Hope everyone is as excited as I am!!
I'm going to have to do something about the hair. I just can't keep it as splotchie as it is.
We're 40 day from the start of our vacation and 43 until we check into the Pop Century.
I had to lol when I read this. I had my hair professionally color last Tuesday and it is not even close to what I requested.so frustrating paying full price and clearly not getting what you came for.
Maybe your sil can help you

I used to have my professionally done, but I had to stop using that person. She would do it, cut and color for $25 in her home. I had to stop going to her because of her mother that was living with her and working with me at a day care. Our youngest son had bit someone at daycare. I told her that if he did that, she could act, not actually bite, but act like she was going to bite him to hopefully scare him. Well she didn't act, she bit. It was hard enough to leave a mark. I'm going to ask her if she can help me. It's just she works so much that I hate asking. She works a full time job plus a PRN one.
That's really pretty! Wish I could knit. Don't have patience to learn.![]()
Thank you. I figured out the solid/stripes thing. These are not the colors I would use, but this is what it looks like.

Well, they said that they would do another PT test while they are away at AT, but that just cuts it so close to our trip. He tried to get to talk to the Commander yesterday, but didn't get to. He has 4 weeks before they leave for AT and he says he will do some more running and keep up some other things he has been doing. He did shave about 10 minutes off his last time, so if he can shave that 3 minutes off.
I have been coloring my own hair since I was 17, I just use the box color that you buy at Target. I grew up with my mom doing it every 6 weeks. I almost always choose an Auburn tone, because the first time I colored my hair it came out a shade of Auburn and I loved it, no other color seems to compliment my skin tone as well and my own color is very dark brown and almost dull, and now I am getting more and more gray, I'm almost 39, and I am NOT ready to be gray!
Hopefully he can talk to the Commander and get to take the PT test sooner than AT.
I had a friend that colored it the first time when I was 18, but didn't keep it up. He just did it another shade of brown and my DH (boyfriend at the time) couldn't tell that I had even done anything to it. I now wish I had just gone to Wal Mart and gotten that foam hair dye. No, I just had to go to Sally's beauty supply b/c I didn't want to deal with parking at Wal Mart. I had dropped the DH and DSs off at Chilis to get wait for a table while I tried to return our youngest's iPod and get the dye. I should have just waited until after we ate and had DH drop me off at the door at Wal Mart.
