Our first trip to WDW as a family: June 3-June 9 with a double dip on the Dream from the 10th to the 15th!

We are All Star Movies, and pretty happy about it.

Just bought my airline ticket and made my room reservation today; couldn't see and do enough with the family along last December so I am going back solo this June!

Never have been solo but it would be nice for a few days, of course if I found myself with a couple days of alone time I would probably sit in the room and sleep. Have a great time and you have been added to the June Diser list post 600.

Just realized yesterday that I need to locate our water bottle fans, put them up after our last trip but didn't put them with all the other Disney Vacation stuff. Can't remember where I put them so the DGKids would leave them alone and not wear them out before the next trip.

If anyone has a cancellation for a breakfast seat at pre-MK opening on the mornings of June 5th, June 6th, June 7th, or June 8th please let me know!!!!!

But since I just booked my solo trip yesterday I'll never get a breakfast MK reservation at first seating just for me.

If you're worried about someone in your party cancelling, I'll be the substitute and fill in!

Yes, I have an ulterior motive: to get empty park pictures as well as eat!

You don't have to do anything special! I can share your table or not; push me to the side or whatever!

Note: Mods - If this is illegal, please let me know and I will remove!

It's up to you! I'll eat anywhere; I'll do Cinderella' Castle which I've never been able to do since my DS refused to try!

I'm a nice person. I taught middle school for a long time and still work with a local Boy Scout troop as an adviser and I'm a decent photographer so I could take pictures for you. I am good with babies and children too! I can give tips on planning your park day too since this is my 13th trip.

Just thought I would chime in about those Polar Breeze things. I used a very similar item on a 5 day extremely hot whitewater paddling/rafting trip in 2005 and they worked fine. With the rubber on the raft and the water reflecting up they helped us all!

This June's trip will be my very first to WDW in warm weather out of 12+ trips. We have always gone in cooler weather but I wanted to use my AP and work prevents me going after June.

I will definitely follow this thread to see what other hints people come up with!

Just thought I would chime in about those Polar Breeze things. I used a very similar item on a 5 day extremely hot whitewater paddling/rafting trip in 2005 and they worked fine. With the rubber on the raft and the water reflecting up they helped us all!

Thanks I'm glad to know that i didn't waste my money. We didn't go on our walk/jog last night. My DH tripped over a curb, first thing yesterday morning, and he went right down on his knees. Well they were hurting too bad to walk, so we didn't go. I had put them in the frig no later than 10 AM yesterday morning. At about 7 - 8 PM, I took them out to see what he thought about how cool they were. You would have thought I put a snake around the man's neck as quickly as he jumped away from me. He said it was "freezing cold" and he didn't want it on him. I put it on both of the DS necks, and they had the same reaction that the DH had. I didn't put it on me b/c I was too busy laughing at them. I wonder how cool the morning will be, and am worried that it will be too cool to have them on then. Since I am determined to carry my Margot Disney D&B bag while we are there, I won't have a purse big enough to stick them in if it is too cool to wear. I guess I could buy another purse and bring it along, just in case.

Well, we are booked at CP on the morning of June 8th, can't remember the time (think it's like 8:05), but I know it's before park opening, if we still go you are welcome to join us, it's me, DH, and his mom and step-father. If we end up having to cancel you are welcome to it.

It's pretty warm even early in the morning and it gets hot very quickly. They will appreciate them when they get there.

DH felt up to walking today, but no jogging. I wore mine and didn't sweat, but stayed nice and cool. Of course it wasn't warm at all. I think it was upper 70's, maybe 80. It was a nice walk.....until we were almost home, and I noticed a massively huge, ginormous snake in the road. Ok, so maybe if you wanted to get all technical about it, it was maybe a foot long and probably less than 2. At first I thought it was a rattlesnake, but the after telling the fil about it, he thinks it was a bullsnake. This is the 2nd snake about that size I have seen recently. Luckily this one wasn't in the living room and I hadn't just stepped over it, like I had with the last one. My DH kept getting near it and putting the bottom of the shoe near it to see if it would strike him. It kept striking the bottom of his shoe and I kept screaming and jumping back. At one point he got a stick and to see if he could see fangs. When it tried to get away from him, he came right at me. That made me scream and run backwards. Thanks goodness for being on the cymbal line in high school marching band b/c I am good at moving quickly while walking (jogging) backwards. He then took the stick and flung the snake into the yard across the street.

Just fixed it. Thought I had already fixed it but must have forgotten to save it. You're good to go now at CBR. You'll be there while we are but we are staying off site this time. I can hardly wait to go.

It was so good talking to you last night and I feel so much better today. I am still a bit worried, but I really think it is unnecessary. I really would love to meet at the pool bar one afternoon, I am sure we will hit the pool a couple of times the few days we are there. I plan for some afternoon breaks since the parks are open later.

It's good that you stayed cool. I would have wet my pants if I had seen the snake and I would have moved if it had been in my living room. I am deathly afraid of snakes.

You would think that with me living in Texas that I would be more used to them. The little one that we found in the living room of my inlaws house wasn't the first time that I found a snake in a house. When I was growing up, my sister and I were up late on a Saturday night waiting for wrestling to come on. Not the WWF wrestling, but back when the Von Erichs were wrestling. Anyway, I was sitting stretched out in front of the tv on the floor when I noticed movement around the bottom of the tv. It was a snake. Before I took time to notice what kind it was I jumped up, ran into the living room, some how managed to jump from the kitchen floor to the top of the table, screaming my head of the entire time. My mom came out of my brother's room where she had been watching tv with my brother. My mom had to go wake my dad up b/c all my screaming didn't do it. Luckily it was just a grass snake, a rattlesnake might have chased me.
When we were little it wasn't uncommon to find rattlesnakes (full grown adult rattlesnakes) in our yard. We lived in the country and our property was surrounded by rock crushers. My mom's cousin owned the house before we did. B/c of the house being surrounded by rock crushers, it's no unusual for the house to shake a little depending on where they were blasting. Well this one time, my mom's cousin heard the blast, and felt a small shake. She was standing at the kitchen sink doing dishes. Then she started hearing things falling from the trees. She looked out the window by the sink, and yep rattlesnakes were falling out of the trees. The only thing we can guess is that they blasted really close to a den of rattlesnakes and the blast made them fly through the air. I guess in my little town in Texas pigs can't fly, but rattlesnakes sure can.
Then my poor DH was unlucky enough to work on a dryer once. When he took they dryer outter shell off he told the person that he knew what was wrong. They didn't believe him, so he had to go physically show them. They had a rattlesnake stuck in there dryer and it was keeping the appliance from working. Just in case it is ever a problem for anyone, appliance repair guys usually don't remove snake from appliances in order to work on them.

It was so good talking to you last night and I feel so much better today. I am still a bit worried, but I really think it is unnecessary. I really would love to meet at the pool bar one afternoon, I am sure we will hit the pool a couple of times the few days we are there. I plan for some afternoon breaks since the parks are open later.

I'm glad I could help. It seems like we jump from one crisis to another around here, so I have gotten really good at venting and then letting it go. Sometime, you just need to vent about it, so you can get all your frustration out before the level headed side of you takes over. I tell my DH that I need to have my little outburst of a freak out and then I can stay calm about it. If I don't the stress about it just builds and builds. The Serenity Prayer somedays really keeps me sane.
Sounds like a plan. I'll just have to keepy my anti-social DH out of the loop. We'll have to figure out a day that will work for us, and maybe others staying at the PC.

Graduation trips are the best, what a great memory for him. Hope you all have a fun time. There is a list on post 600 with the Diser's we have listed going in June. ) Son is a serious Disneyholic. He went to Character auditions last week, and is planning on doing the college program hopefully next summer. I have already been checking out the who's going list, and have joined the FB page as well. More than ready to head to the World. We're driving. He graduates the evening of June 9, and we are leaving immediately after...trading his graduation cap for Mickey Graduation Ears.
