AMYZ00: Did you find that Jeep luggage at Walmart?

No - we decided not to get it after all. I forgot that I had some duffle bags put away. Each one of the kids has his/her own luggage so I think that we will be okay. I really appreciate the heads up though! That was really sweet of you! DH and I agreed that we need to try to not spend any more money until we leave for Disney. I have spent so much money in the last two weeks on clothes, shoes, travel stuff, etc.! I can't believe that it went so fast.

Getting down to the wire and getting stressed. DD#2 & I were going over my outfits to get an idea of what to wear what days. SHE was still shopping tonight. Finally found a sundress! You'd never know we've been planning this for MONTHS! Not sure how I'll survive the next 7 days!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has to drive into town If I needed tires I would have to drive 45 minutes to get them

Down to 13 days

Bout the same here...no matter which direction I would have went it would have been anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. Living out here has it's perks, but with gas being $4 a gallon I start to question it.

I have spent so much money in the last two weeks on clothes, shoes, travel stuff, etc.! I can't believe that it went so fast.

Isn't it amazing how much it costs just to get ready to go on vacation?! I'm in the same boat with expenses -- and I had to buy a new windshield cause DS threw a rock and broke mine

I'm officially in freakout mode with how much needs to happen BEFORE we can even go!

It's getting closer!!!!

Purchased two new huge suitcases last week. We picked them up at Marshall's and they were a steal!

Stopped by AAA this morning and picked up all of my travel docs.

Got all my little travel size goodies at Target last week, along with a new swimming suit and some tshirts. I love that store!

So close!

Which suitcases???? I soooo wanted the "Minnie Mouse" polka dot ones, but we don't really NEED them so I passed - not an easy thing to do! I may just HAVE to go back and see if they're still there...... if I have time!

And I do NEED a new swimsuit - haven't checked Target yet so maybe I'll try there.....

Count me in on the totally overwhelmed by all the stuff I have to get done before vacation AND the expense involved!

I'm also a little grumpy, because in addition to working 40+ hours this week AND having an exam to take for my school on Saturday, I'm going to be the one cleaning the house, getting the car's oil changed, picking up the dry cleaning, taking care of all of the pet needs, packing and 100 other things. My wife has "other things planned this week". ARUGH!
Nothing like a Magical Meltdown prior to vacation even starting!

I finally started packing last night! DD is packed except for her plane items, my things are laying out, DH is packing his things today and then there is DS - gotta love teens.

I cannot believe it is only 2 more days!

We are down to 8 days I have tons to do but am kind of at a stand still till we get a little closer and now my car needs 4 new tires every year something happens that I have to spend money on right before vacation.

I feel your pain! LOL Dh will be at fire school next week and I'm putting in my 40+ hours, cleaning house, packing, getting the guinea pig tended to and to his pet sitter amoung various other stuff (hopefully ds will stay at the sitters). Dh will get home about 7:00 on the 12th unload gear, pack, and load the truck back up. We leave the next morning at 5:00 to be at the airport at 8:00. I just really feel that we'll be cutting it close!
