Official JUNE 2008

DD woke up this morning looked at her calendar and said 9 weeks before we leave. Guess we're in the single digits for weeks before we leave :rotfl:
Actually its 62 more days, but I'll let her do the weeks ;) makes her think June is getting here faster!

Only 9 weeks??!!! Wow - that hard to believe, isn't it. I think that DH is actually getting a little excited because he has been talking more about the upcoming trip, and not in a negative way! That makes it feel even more exciting!!

How has the resale gone? Have you finalized everything?

Still haven't found any shoes yet. Maybe I will look tomorrow after the ads come out. I just need to get them by May 1st so that I have plenty of time to break them in. What are you wearing during your visit?

We're waiting for estopple. Should be closing within the next 10 days. Since refi doesn't close until the 16 I'm not in any hurry until after that date. But once the money is in my hands the closing company better watch out :rotfl:

Got DD shoes today, she's wearing a ladies size 6 1/2 :confused3 and she is only 8. I have a feeling she will be wearing a 9 or 10 by the time her foot stops growing. We went to the Disney Store to get a quick Disney fix. Spent way too much money. :scared1: But got some really cute outfits for her and a new Tink T for me. DH doesn't get excited about anything except playing drums

Today we hit 50 days left on our countdown! Half way there from when we started our countdown . . I am so excited I can barely stand it. I have sooo much crap to do this month that I am hugely stressed out. By the time June 1st gets here, I am going to be in MAJOR need of a vacation!

DH, 2 DDs, and me will be at CSR June 4-12; I have the bug so badly!!! All my ADRs are made and I am sooo ready to go!:cool1:

How tall is your daughter? My 8 year old DD only wears a kids 13; she is little, like her dad!

I would love to be a DVC member, but DH would not go for it. How did you convince your DH?

You and your DD are flying, right? We will be driving, so we actually start out on the 14th! Are you going to "wear" a LGMH while at WDW?

She's almost 5' :scared1: She is wearing size 12 clothes, the legs are little long but she has an apple shape. DD and I are flying, we're leaving the day before to stay at the motel. We got the Sleep, Park and Fly plan. I will have my LMGH on my backpack and fanny pack if I am allowed to wear it. Everyone complains when I have it on :confused3 I'm also trying to figure out the T-Shirt transfer program DH has. I bought a lime green shirt and I wanted to put an outline of a Mickey head on it with my Dis name in the middle. Hopefully I'll figure it out before the trip gets here. I know that now that I have projects to get done the time will fly. Sent you a PM on how I convinced DH.

We'll be at POFQ June 18-July 2.

DS14 has already started a list of things he'll need to bring.

DS21 asked if he should bring the suitcases from the attic.-- Ah, I think you can wait a little while yet!

DH is reviewing the ADRs and making plans.

Everyone is definitely ready!!

The countdown is deffinately on, as cold as it is here in the CHicago burbs right now, Fla is on our minds non stop! Bring on the sun!

The countdown is 2 months to the day that we are leaving! :dance3: SO excited! Our eta is the 15th of June and we will be there until the 21st. We are staying at the Pop for the first time. Can't time go any faster???

ok, I have been sort of excited but this morning it was like...OOOOOoooo YEAHHHHH...were getting close now! I think today were gonna make a coutdown calendar for my 8 year old...lol...and me!
We were kinda bummed about our taxes this year making us drop our rooms at CSR and go to ASMusic, but now were kinda looking forward to it too. We have never stayed at Music so it will still be a new thing, and the kids love the bigger than life icons. We will have a great time regardless!!!

I'm ready...lets pack!!!

We are now at the 53 day mark!

I know it's getting down to the wire because my girls are at the point where they're asking "how many days?" every hour or so! :cool1:

Just booked a FW Cabin for June 22-28, really wanted POR but it was not available. Can't wait, I've been trying to get permission (ha, ha) from my DH for a couple months now to go back to the World. I don't no why he has to be so stubborn, he knows he always gives in. WDW here we come!!!

Someone was just telling me about the cabins at FW this afternoon - they really like them.... you'll have to let us know what you think of them when you get back!

We're at exactly 2 months today! :yay: We're all soooooooo excited! My dd wore her Elizabeth Swan hat to breakfast this morning - so reminded me of being at WDW! Was just too cute and made me want to be there already!

For those looking for sandals: I bought a pair of Adidas flip-flops today at Kohls - they have memory foam soles and a few people on DIS have said they're really comfortable at WDW. They seem like they will be, and at only $17.xx I figured it was worth a try! ($23 on sale and I have an extra 30% off coupon)

I know this is strange to quote, but the thing about your DD's foot size just made me smile :goodvibes My feet were exactly like that, however, I got cursed with 10 1/2- 11 (mostly 11). :rotfl:
Nothing wrong with it though, you just have to get over that some shoe designers just are too lazy to include large sizes in their line..:cutie:

How hard is it to find shoes :confused3 I never had looked into those sizes, although DD28 wears a size 9 - 10 depending on the make. I should have realize that this could happen. Glad it made you smile :flower3: , isn't it funny how little things can bring a small to someones face:thumbsup2

It's not terribly difficult. Thankfully, enough women have size 11's to have them be common in most brands now. I shop online at zappos.com a lot of the time, but I wouldn't worry too much about being able to find shoes. ;)

And pssssst... Paris Hilton wears a size 11-12 shoe. :happytv: If she can rock it ( despite her.. uh, cranial flaws?) then so can I! :hippie:

:rotfl2: :lmao:

That's great - I love it!!

So did I. 2 months to go! Seems like the time is starting to go by a little faster. :confused3 Now next month at this time I'll be freaking out that I don't have enough time to get everything done ;) :rotfl:

Oh, I know. I will be freaking out as well! I will make a hugh list and go through everything that I bought at least one hundred times! ;)

The days are coming so fast, especially since I have been devoting most of my time to my last semester at school. I graduate in less than a month - it's been a long time coming! This has allowed me to focus my attention on that instead of our trip. Don't get me wrong, I have been thinking about it, but not as much as I could have! Please keep your fingers crossed that the weather is perfect - no rain, no horrific hot temps, low humidity, and small crowds! :thumbsup2 Okay, the last one is a long shot, but one can hope!:)

Still haven't found any shoes yet. I am tempted to try on a pair of crocs. I have read that these are very comfy - squishy - and that they have a thick heel. Do you own any of these?
