Official JUNE 2008

I'll have my LGMH also. Oh, and I found a lime green little backpack/purse at Wal-Mart for $7. Clearanced!:cool1:

Last time we were there I saw someone with a lime green bag and I wanted to ask her if she was a member and I was too chicken to do it. Kind of a shy person. I am going to ask this time. Life's too short to keep being shy!

Thanks for taking the time to find all of us Coachyo!

We are heading out for AAU Volleyball and fun with Mickey. :woohoo:

As I went through all 36 pages I came up with this list of people who will be at POR during my dates at one time or another. :surfweb:

See if you are below and let me know if I missed you.

I dropped off the final payment with AAA this morning!:goodvibes

Got the following ADR's done:

6/16: O'hana Brunch (actually breakfast but we go late!)
6/17: Biergarten (DH will be needing a cold one by then)
6/18: California Grill
6/19: Artist Point
6/21: O'hana (dinner this time)
6/22: Crystal Palace
6/23: Yachtsman Steakhouse

I still have to work on the 24th & 25th. I'd really like to do Boma, the Flying Fish Cafe or Mama Melrose's.

Any suggestions?

I am so excited for you...cuz were going at the same time:dance3: . The quicker you get there, the quicker I do too!!!

48 days for us!!!!:cool1:

Plane tickets - paid
Park tickets - paid
Resort rooms - paid
Spending money - in the bank!!!!

Planning ---PRICELESS!!!!!

Kristybell - We love BOMA but it is not for everyone. If you like Indian or Morroccan cuisine you will probably love Boma. The soups and stews are great. Only flat cracker bread though, no rolls or yeast breads.

And we will be there the 15th - 20th!!!!

One big happy party!!!

JUST TO SHARE...
Last night my DD14 & I were talking about doing up our window for fathers day this year...We were thinking about making up a lime green goofy and dressing up the window saying something about celebrating our dad @ WDW. Any other suggestions? Anyone else doing up their window and door? When we did it last time we got lots of comments and met several Dis friends becasue of it!

Oh snap that's right, Father's Day!

Must do something special for hubby on that day. He'll have me and Disney, what more could he want?:rotfl2:

I did our door at WL last year, but not the balcony windows. Now that I'm thinking about it, I may actually order one of those goody baskets and have that delivered to the room for father's day. I forget the exact contact info, but I know there is a company down in the Diz area that will do that for you.

Suevee - thanks for the Boma info. I actually made ressies there and at Tony's for the 25th. No rolls...yikes.:scared1: My boys are definitely breadmen. I'm excited to try it!

Isn't it a great feeling to be this close to our vacations?!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

OMG - I am getting so so excited! :cool1: I finally gave in and called for some ADR's - I swore I wasn't going to do that this time around because I didn't want to have a set schedule, but the "planner" in me won out!

I haven't posted too much to this thread as we have had people visiting us for several weeks. Now that their trip is through, I've moved on to looking forward to WDW!!! And I am sooooo excited! June 14th cannot come soon enough!:yay:

Chuck65, You're in, no one is on the bench when your in DW

Chuck65, is the 65 a jersey #? I was #33 - FB & LB, what about yo

ljhmom, Our dates are even closer now. I've asked for bldg #14, 15 or 18
be on the look out for us.

Ya'll have a great day!

I think you will be glad you did. With it being June it is already going to be crowded...plus add in Star Wars Weekends and it will be worse. Then top it off with everyone knows I am going to be there...:lmao: JUST KIDDING! I know that when we went and only had a few adr's couple years back, we thought we would just do a few walk ups and go from there. BIG MISTAKE. We tried a few places with no luck and ended up doing cs. That night we called and made adr's for the rest of our trip. We ended up not getting in where or when we had hoped...and decided then and there that regardless of if we were on the DDP or not we would always make our adr's as early as we could.

Got my magical express luggage tags in the mail yesterday. I realized that we are in the 30s on the countdown. Just a little over a month left before I will be there. I can't wait. Yippie!!!!

One big happy party!!!

My DH would kill me if I decorated a window or door with his name or celebrating him for Father's Day! As part of his gift, he got to pick where we would eat that night. He chose Fulton's. Yummy!

Welcome Kristybell. My daughters and I love Boma, my husband and grandkids not so much. So when we girls do Bomas, they do Kona cafe.
When is Father's Day? It totally dropped off my radar! I can't wait. Three great things happening here. On May 9 two of my daughters buy their first home, on June 6 school is out, on June 9 I get new rugs, and on June 11 WE LEAVE FOR WDW!!!!:dance3:

The 65 is the year I was born. Shows my age. I was a receiver and LB in school.

Nothing like waiting to the last minute...BUT, I just wrote the check to pay off our trip! :cool1: 5 days to spare! :thumbsup2
